Kreedz.com - Mappinghelp and tutorials

As you might have seen, there's been a couple of months since this page was active, under the time it's been undergoing some big updates, the last couple of days we have been finishing this project.
The main idea was always to keep this site as a helpout area for mappers, with a bit of tutorials and help from experienced mappers.

There are a few new things to know on the site, first of all the Admins link, which ofcourse shows you a little description of our current admins, and what they've been mapping. And also Tutorials(you need to be a member to see this) which at the moment only have a few tutorials in it, but will grow big in the future. One of the most recent futures with this tutorialpage is that you as a user can send in a tutorial you would like to have at the page. Keep in mind though that the widest picturewidth you can use is 480 px. And if you are going to submit a tutorial it would be great if you could send the pictures your about to use to kz`Moxx in #kreedz, at Quakenet, so we can host the pictures right here, on the kreedz website.

And ofcourse dont forget to checkout our video tutorials, and ofcourse all the models and programs avalible in the downloadsection.


They current admin team consists of:

Moxx
The creator of sandblock, one of the most played kz-maps over the years. He's been around since the beginning of kz.

Clair
The creator of mountaincrest, he's been around about 1,5 years.

Radon
Years of mappingexperience and 40+ released kzmaps.

Pf0llzor
Most known for his ancient themed maps.


The channel #kreedz at Quakenet is up and running again.
And remember that if you need realtime help with any problem at all, you can visit #mappers at Quakenet.

Mapsubmission information

As you might have seen it havent been working out so great here at kreedz.com
Mainly because many of the important people left.

The mappingteam & mappingchecking will be moved to Xtreme-jumps.eu again.
Mainly because:

a. It's better if everything is at the same place.
b. Kreedz.com lost motivated people to keep the site & system running.



The maps that were in beta-checks, will have to be re-submitted, because the maps in beta-checks isnt ready for the finalchecks.
So please read your comments in "Map Status" and resubmit your map to (link)
The finalmaps will be moved directly over to xtreme-jumps(kzlt_dementia, (kz)_cg_islands & (kz)_senskz_toonblock).

Also one important thing is that we will remove the beta-checks for a faster working system for both admins and mappers.



note.
kreedz.com is still open as a mappingsite where mappers can get help with maps/models etc. and dont forget #mappers @ Quakenet for your mappingquestions and help.

Got 10 new, brand new out of the factory KZ/Custom Maps, Hope you enjoy!


kz_a2_bhop_corruo_ez & kz_a2_bhop_corruo_h by SadPuppy & Shizuka
Absolutely interesting new map, very nice concept, it's kind of old maya theme.
Very nice work, got some inside parts and also some outside parts.
Put your bhop skills to the test!
Keep in mind that this is a bhop map.


kz_dp_medieval by FragMcCracken & FragGyver
A map with kind of old castle theme, very nice looking, im sure that everyone who plays it will get the "wow".
Also a completely new concept as a minimap.


kz_darkness by radon
Another great map by radon. A clean and beautiful map in a mysterious and dark environment.
And like always radon has a great feeling for the jumps.





bhop_rooftops by 8ball1
Personally i absolutely love this map, it's a AXN map.
It's a little town/highlife theme on the map and it feels great and is a great challange for most players.
Keep in mind that this is a AXN-bhop map.


cg_hitnrun by DaMp
Interesting new map with a few new ideas for jumps, mixed jumps and bhops.


risk_compound by TommyJN
This map is great, lovely hard bhops, for the more advanced jumper.
This is a map with a kind of city/compound theme and he made a excellent job with it.
Keep in mind that this is a bhop map.


kzus_desertblock by sucky
This is a remake of the old suk_desertblock map. The edgebug shortcut has been removed and the outside is added with jumps.


kzus_desertblock_ez by sucky
Remake of suk_desertblock_ez. The edgebug shortcut is removed in this version as well.


drewbie_longjumps by drewbie
This a longjump map with a timer. You have to be a fast and skilled longjumper to get a good time.
A fun map for the skilled longjumpers and a good practise map for the people who are still trying to master the longjump technique.


kz_cg_nightcastle by DaMp
A fun and good looking map where you have to jump in and outside of a castle to get to the end timer at the top of the castle.


Once again, hope you enjoy theese brand new maps.

And thank you omilo for helping me with some of the maptexts

I made a huge mistake and missread the thread about nightcastle, nightcastle is actually a kzmap, I changed the download links etc, just redownload the map :)

2 Brand new kzmaps by XaSer

kz_kzsca_pyramid
A brand new map with a pyramid a little bit old egyptic theme.
Should be a pretty descent challange for most players.


kz_kzsca_research
Now this map is finally released "again", some updates have been made and the map is beautiful.
A little mixture between bunnhops and normal jumping, which seems nothing else than standard theese days.
