Tournament Over
The tournament has finished in a nice manner, all the players being present from the quarters to the final. We managed to do the 3 elimination rounds in one day, this way we thank the players that were there and understood that it's better to play everything in the same day, because otherwise there might have appeared some problems concerning the presence of the contestants.
We shouldn't forget the players from the groups stage either, that were there and had the patience to play, being fair-play in the same time. There have been some discussions also, some of them forcing us to disqualify 1 or 2 players. All in all I think the tournament was pretty good even though the participants didn't "fight" for any prize.
We should get the most expected moment of the tournament: The FINAL. It has been a tight match between R3AL and MepH, until R3AL made a mistake and couldn't recover. So as you might have noticed, the winner of the tournament is MepH. Congratulations!
In my (w1zz) opinion the best match of the tournament was zhady vs R3AL on kz_dirtblock. Both of the players knew the map and they have made a spectacular match. After the 5 minutes they were on the same spot. Even after the 2 extra minutes the distance between R3AL and zhady was only of 1 block.
Zhady tried to win some space but you know, the more haste the less speed, so he fell in the last second. It was a really tight and nice match, I enjoyed it and I am sure you will enjoy it when you will see the hltv demo.
