Who we are

Kreedz.com is operated as a community website for CS 1.6 KZ speedrunning. For privacy-related questions or requests (including where applicable under the GDPR), please contact us through the channels listed on our Contact page (Discord, Steam, or the administration team listing). We do not publish a dedicated privacy email on this site.

Data we may process

Depending on how you use the site, we may process data such as account identifiers (e.g. username), profile and forum content you submit, gameplay-related submissions (e.g. demos, records metadata), technical logs typical for web services (e.g. IP address, user agent, timestamps for security and operations), and preferences stored on your device (see our Cookie policy).

If you sign in with Steam or link a Steam account, Valve processes Steam authentication according to their policies; we receive only what is needed to operate your account linkage as implemented in our application.

We do not run advertising or third-party web analytics (for example Google Analytics or similar marketing trackers) on Kreedz.com as part of operating the site. Routine server and security logs may still be generated as normal for a web application.

Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)

  • Service provision: operating accounts, leaderboards, uploads, forum, and related features you request (typically contract or legitimate interests, depending on context).
  • Security and abuse prevention: protecting users and the platform (legitimate interests / legal obligations where applicable).
  • Communication: responding through channels you use (e.g. Discord or Steam), where you initiate contact.

Your rights

Where the GDPR applies, you may have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, subject to conditions and exceptions in law. To exercise these rights, reach out via Contact so we can verify and handle your request.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, security, and dispute-resolution needs. Retention periods vary by data type and feature; we delete or anonymise data when it is no longer required.
