XJ is officially looking for a new AMXX coder
Hey guys,
it's no big secret that our cup plugin is more than outdated and isn't working properly anymore lately, since the AMXX IRCbot is being attacked by an unknown jerk. It's also a big problem that all the stuff is hardcoded and we don't have the sourcecode, means it can't be changed by our admins. These facts are causing a few problems at the moment, because the system is based on nicknames and works only if all the bots have the right nicknames - but, as I mentioned before, they are under attack/stolen right now (and the Quakenet staff isn't really willing to help us; therfore we might change the IRC network additionally).
Another problem is that the Beta plugin is still beta and the coder(s) kinda disappeared, so it's more than unsure if it will ever be finished the way it was supposed to be.
Therfore we decided to officially open a slot for a new AMXX coder (or 2, if you are a good team). You will be part of the XJ staff and even get rewarded with some extra money if you do an excellent job on the plugins (if that does motivate you).
The top priority would be to write a new cupplugin and then, after the cupplugin is finished, a new and complete kreedz plugin for our public servers (with focus on a great (php) toplist, irc announces and some special vip functions).
I really hope we're going to find a suitable person who enjoys to work with us and will create something wonderful for the people out there :)
