Less known kreedz-communities part 2

\\r\\nYou might have read about the less known kreedz-communities ("part 1") from [link=http://xtreme-jumps.eu/news.php?extend.1081]Weekly #73[/link]. It introduced the official communities for the Balkan countries, Brazil, Taiwan and KZ-Korea. Now there are a few more communities that might want to step out from the shadows and be enlightened for the blind eyes of Xtreme-Jumps.\\r\\n\\r\\n[flag]ar[/flag] [link=http://kreedz-arg.com.ar/news.php][b]KZ Argentina[/b][/link]\\r\\n\\r\\nThe [link=http://www.climbers-arg.com.ar/]old website[/link] for Argentinian players was always slow and badly functioning and most likely due to those facts it was abandoned at first, and then [i]closed[/i]. Soon after the fall of climbers-arg a new Argentinian kreedz website was risen. It was, ofcourse, [link=http://kreedz-arg.com.ar/staff.php]kreedz-arg.com.ar[/link] - the website has forums, map records, longjump records and a lot of more functions and it is administrated by 11 persons of which the majority is Argentinian and the rest are from Spain. Browse the site and find some interesting demos that you can't find from anywhere else!\\r\\n\\r\\n[flag]lt[/flag] [link=http://kzlt.bentski.lt/][b]KZ Lithuania[/b][/link]\\r\\n\\r\\nThis website is the official lithuanian kreedz-community, and the interesting fact in this page is that it is only open during day-time. Yes, the page is closed at night, but during the day it is open and fully functioning. As you can very likely notice from the websites name, kzlt.bentski.lt, the lithuanian coder/player Bentski is the main administrator of the site. Take a bottle of your favorite beverage, download a bunch of lithuanian demos and enjoy a refreshing night of watching some interesting demos either by the more known players such as Fact or Fiction, He B Temy or Gnomas or entertain yourself by checking out the styles of unheard jumpers.\\r\\n\\r\\n[link=http://unique-kz.com/][b]Unique-KZ[/b][/link]\\r\\n\\r\\nThis Russian community hosts records mainly for players around Ukraine, Russia, Lithuania, Latvia, Bulgaria, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Belarussia and Georgia. The community is quite heavily based for longjumping, and you can find more jumps than just regular longjumps - weirdjumps, slide longjumps, ladderjumps and more! Check the page out and enjoy.\\r\\n\\r\\n

The biggest and the best

\\r\\nAt the moment the top five era is changing. The enduring attendance of zhady is put to an end. [b]For more than two years[/b] zhady's name was constantly visible at the right head of the page. Due the rising of [b]PuppetZ[/b] one name had to leave the top five and [b]zhady's time was up.[/b]\\r\\n\\r\\nIn the last half of a year the top five probably built itself with names like zhady, brian, heL^_x, SuPa, Kunqui, chrizZo and Flibo. The players on the ranks 4-7 had nearly the same amount of demos over a long time. [b]The competition got closer[/b] and we didn't have a surpassing star in the last time. After the era of zhady and brian a lot of different kreedz players are playing nearly on the same level.\\r\\n\\r\\nPuppetz went from the [i]outside[/i] to the first place with one release. This wouldn't have been possible in older times, where the top recorders had a greater advance towards the dawning players.\\r\\n\\r\\nThe question that is popping up now is: [b]Who'll be the top recorder [/b]and who'll stay into the top five? Are there newcomers who will overwhelm the current players?\\r\\n\\r\\nZhady and chrizZo are taking a stance and estimating the future development. They'll go through the current players and rate their abilities in their point of view.\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\npuppetz: We both agreed with saying that puppetz has the possibility to stay at the top, if he wants to. If he goes on recording actively there are no barriers he couldn't break down. But after such a huge release the motivation is maybe missing and maybe he already reached his personal goals now. If you're looking at puppetz demos, you'll realise that he just recorded the maps he likes the most. So puppetz is not a player that goes for quantity, he goes for quality demos on his favourite maps. Maybe this is a trait that is against the nature of the top world record holder at xtreme-jumps. But we can assure you one thing: His demos are high quality ones and they're really hard to beat. He will stay into the top five for a long time, even if he isn't going for much more records.\\r\\n\\r\\nheL^_x: His last demos are speaking for themselves. He is able to perform every single kreedz technique and he's putting them to a new level in the last time. Often it's only taking hel some minutes to get a world record and thats why we came to the conclusion that hes the top candidate for the pole position. His as well aggressive as fluent style is revealing his abilities.\\r\\n\\r\\nSuPa: Every release he's putting one or two demos forward. Often he's improving his own records again and again. You might consider SuPa as someone, who wants to improve everything till it's perfect. Even tho he's not that conspicuous lately, his demos are signifying quality and they're nearly not beaten. SuPa is a hot candidate to become the top recorder again, since his amount of demos is not decreasing.\\r\\n\\r\\nsKiCg: The latest newcomer is scrambling up release for release. An allrounder who's able to pull of some crazy records... and thats what he will do in the future. With his latest demos he has shown that is skill is slowly increasing as well and if he keeps going, he will reach the top three shortly.\\r\\n\\r\\nkunqui: The Argentinian legend retired some time ago and he's not motivated to come back to the scene. He's not recording anymore and thats why he'll have a hard time surviving into the top five. It's just a matter of time till he will disappear like all other inactive players.\\r\\n\\r\\nzhady, brian and chrizZo: All three of these guys are semi active or inactive. The conclusion is logical: They have no chance to come back to the top five.\\r\\n\\r\\nFlibo: Probably he will be the one, who'll fight back into the top five with some releases. Due the inactivity of Kunqui one spot into the top five will be free. Flibo can take it, if he puts some effort in it.\\r\\n\\r\\n

XJ has a scene language?

\\r\\nThe following text is meant as a analysis of the scene language in our beloved kreedz community.\\r\\nEvery scene builds it's very own language with new words and new phrases. Often these new words are having their roots in famous and known persons, who are [b]creating hypes and trends with their own language[/b]. A scene language includes short forms or definitions and new words. It's in the nature of a scene, that such a new language is building itself. This process of the building is unstructured and directionless. \\r\\n\\r\\nA scene language executes [b]two functions[/b]. The first one: It's [b]integrating[/b] people into the scene. Someone from the outside has to learn the new words to be a part of the scene. If he's able to use the scene specific lexis, he's often automatically accepted from the others and he's able to be a part of the chats and discussions.\\r\\n\\r\\nOn the other hand such a language means [b]segregation[/b]. The scene is automatically disconnecting themselves from people outside the scene. The language shows if you're a part of the community or if you aren't. So a scene language combines and disconnects people at the same time.\\r\\n\\r\\nLet's take a [b]look at the front page of Xtreme-Jumps.eu[/b]. You don't have to search for such a language for a long time. "Map Shortcuts", "Record Demos", "LJ Records", "KZ-, Custom-, AXN- and 2man maps"? That's a bunch of short form and scene specific words right on the start page. The language gets more and more specific, when you browse through the site. Just take a look at the forums, it's like another language for unknowing people.\\r\\n\\r\\nBut these examples are more or less just short forms, which are very easy to understand and too boring to analyse them now. But maybe we should pay some attention towards some kind of "hypes". At XJ we had many of them.\\r\\n\\r\\n[b]old, but gj for finding[/b] - This sentence is that popular, that even a movie is named after it. That's because this sentence was used more than enough. In the end the public even condemned it as a completely overused spam sentence, without a real proposition behind it. Due the overuse, this sentence has dig it's own grave.\\r\\n\\r\\n[b]Bibo did it[/b] - There was a time where every second comment was exactly this sentence. The hype about this comment was released because of some trickjump threads. In these threads trickjumps were posted, that has already been done by Bibo in one of his movies. Often it was directly the second post with the text "Bibo did it". This sentence meant two things in the beginning: The trickjump is already seen and it's not new and the trickjump has already been made by Bibo.\\r\\nBecause you've read this answer so many times, some people considered it as funny and started to post the sentence everywhere. They made threads with either impossible or really easy trickjumps just to see the "Bibo did it" text again. Of course this behaviour was considered as spam and after some time has passed, the unbelievable happened: faker forbade the sentence "Bibo did it". \\r\\n\\r\\n[b]u r[/b] - It doesn't make sense. It's completely random and it's not bringing anything forward. But why would someone write something, that doesn't make any sense? That's a good question for this [b]little two letters[/b]. Everyone knows it's the short form for "you are", but it's used arbitrary. Is there even [b]any meaning[/b] behind it? Or is it fully [b]spam[/b]?\\r\\nVery tough questions about two letters, don't you think so? All we can say about it is, that it became a trend. But not for anyone. Only specific people are using it and the opinions differ on this phrase. For some people it was and maybe it still is [b]funny[/b], when they're reading the two letters. The others are [b]disturbed[/b] and rate it as spam, that should be punished.\\r\\n\\r\\nAs you've seen there are some examples for the scene specific usage of some phrases or words at XJ. Only some people have used these examples and others probably don't like it, but you can't deny that it's some kind of culture. It's the XJ language with all it's short forms and popular phrases. An obvious sign for a healthy community is, that an own language is building itself, just because people love to be a part of the scene and it's endless discussions, like we have it in our forum. Maybe the people should reconsider their view about this language, if they reject it in any way. Our [b]scene language mirrors culture and history[/b] and it's always a symbol for many people, who enjoy what the community is about. Only in an [b]exciting and motivated[/b] community [b]new creative language[/b] is building itself. So it seems like XJ is such a community.\\r\\n\\r\\n

Demo news

\\r\\nOne of the fastest record on a kreedz map nowadays is probably [b]kz_cfl_ceramicblock[/b]. A really highly competitive map with world record holders like [flag]bg[/flag][b] mgD[/b], [flag]cn[/flag][b] SKiCg[/b] and [flag]se[/flag][b] omilo[/b]. Even tho the record has just been beaten, SKiCg's run was probably the fastest. An extraordinary mistake cost him the world record in the end. The Bulgarian top player managed to overtop him with one second. A crazy battle and omilo seems to be beaten and left-behind.\\r\\n\\r\\n

Is Perfo storing demos ones again?

\\r\\n[flag]fr[/flag][b] Perfo[/b] is always saving his demos. Whenever he's releasing them we can see around 6 new world records by him. The last time he beat a lot of [flag]tw[/flag][b] 7D[/b] records, they only outlived some releases till the Chinese legend got them back. But now he retired and he has probably no chance to beat them back. Will the records last for some longer time?\\r\\n\\r\\n

Doh!

\\r\\nThe old battle on [b]risk_simpsons[/b] seems to be over now. [flag]ar[/flag][b] Kunqui[/b] is inactive and that's why the lucky winner in the end is called \\r\\n[flag]lv[/flag][b] akkord[/b]. The map mostly stands for great bunnyhop lines and very fast records. Akkord always wanted to have this map and he has tried the record for some time now. In the past Kunqui was always the winner into the battle, but things have changed due his inactivity. Akkord settled hisself as the winner in the end.\\r\\n\\r\\n

Big maps for big boys

\\r\\nMaybe you've seen a forum thread by [flag]us[/flag][b] SuPa[/b], where he posted a demo of himself onto [b]kz_dimblock[/b]. It is and it was an epic fail. Nothing more to add. If you haven't seen the fail yet, it's definitely worth watching it.\\r\\nIn the last release [flag]lv[/flag][b] akkord[/b] came and improved his own record with an under nine minutes run. In the comment SuPa begged zhady to "get 7:xx for him on dimblock". Is this the first time in history that SuPa seriously gives up? His comment reveals his current position towards the map: he is fed brassed off by the map.\\r\\n\\r\\n

kzie_bunnyheaven turning in to a battlefield?

\\r\\nThis finely crafted map which has its origins from Ireland (kzie = Kreedz Ireland) has had some competition in its recent past. From the Swedish record holder [flag]se[/flag] [b]omilo[/b] with his time 05:09 to [flag]fi[/flag] [b]KeltA[/b] and his 05:05 run after which the record holder was [flag]be[/flag] [b]koukouz[/b] - a fairly new Belgian player with alot of potential for more - with a second sliced off from KeltA's run; 05:04 after koukouz took KeltA's world record the Finnish jumper decided to have vengeance and re-take his trophy with 05:01 which was a full 3 seconds faster than the previous record, and just two days later [flag]pt[/flag] [b]Dsnts[/b] had his entry in this battle with the first time under 5 minutes; 04:58 - KeltA didn't stop there, instead he cut off a whole [b]8 seconds[/b] from Dsnts' time and did an amazing run of 04:52 without performing "the last shortcut" which cuts approximately 2-3 seconds. \\r\\n\\r\\nThe danish pro-jumper/mapper/moderator [flag]dk[/flag] [b]puppetz[/b] commented the map as "the new goldbhop". Could it be? Will KeltA defend his title in kzie_bunnyheaven for good or will koukouz, Dsnts or someone else show their capabilities by performing even a faster run? Dsnts' personal best run is 3 seconds slower than KeltA's current world record, and 3 seconds faster than his own previous record of 04:58 making it a 04:55. \\r\\n\\r\\n

KeltA destroying old legends

\\r\\nKeltA, the finnish uprising kreedz-player, whose first world record was cg_arizonabhop in 01:38 which is the same as the current world record by heL^_x, is starting to really get some name in the scene. He has destroyed the german legend [flag]de[/flag] [b]Mooney[/b] ([link=http://xtreme-jumps.eu/comment.php?comment.news.1072]demo release 07/08/2009[/link]) at the oldschool map kz_man_climbrace - Mooney had a great time of 04:14 and it stood as his last world record after KeltA improved it by 3 whole seconds completing the map in 04:11. KeltAs more recent accomplishes, kz_man_congo[+carpet] in 33 seconds (without a timerbug), he has managed to drop the argentinian oldschool legend [flag]ar[/flag] [b]emmalahana[/b] from the record holder-lists. With the record rankings being continuously altered, who will be the next player to drop? \\r\\n\\r\\n

Short news

\\r\\nIt's been a long time since we've seen [flag]bg[/flag][b] h1m1[/b] making new maps for us. But now he's back with some upcoming gifts for you! He's currently overworking a [b]two years old project[/b]. It's a follower of a very known block map. So with a delay of two years he finally managed to be very near to the final version of [b]bkz_pyramidblock_v2[/b]! Of course he was that friendly to share a [link=http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/6305/pyramid2.png]inside-the-pyramid picture of it.[/link] \\r\\nThe second version will of course basically include the same theme as it's ancessor, but the difference will be the size! With more than [b]60 blocks[/b] the map [b]will be huge[/b]! With new architecture and textures we'll hopefully see a nice building!\\r\\n\\r\\n

Insilio ex arte project

\\r\\nThe famous moviemaker [flag]bg[/flag][b] st0ka[/b] is working hard on his new movie featuring [flag]de[/flag][b] chrizZo[/b]. You can see [link=http://kz-pictures.eu/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?1383]the current project status here while watching some screenshots of it![/link] The production of the movie will take some more months and it'll include new models, 3D grafics and a hollywood movie alike feeling!\\r\\n\\r\\n

What is reAti doing today?

\\r\\n[flag]fi[/flag][b] reAti[/b]: I started regular cs again about a year ago. First i did both jump and shoot, but then i got more and more inactive in KZ. Actually I played KZ because of Christmas Movie and stopped after it got released. Skill level grew up, but I didn't develop. If i get bored in regular cs, there is a possibility to see me active in KZ. I miss some of my friends in KZ and the time we had developing and playing together\\r\\n\\r\\n
