Record evolution*

Hey ladies and gentlemen,
it's been a long time since this topic was discussed and finally decided in a big poll, but quite a few scripts had to be changed, a few programs and plugins had to be written and a lot of work was going on behind the scenes. I want to thank everyone involved in the process of making this possible, no matter if it was just pointing us into the right direction or direct contribution to help making this come true. However, here we go, it's finally done:
From now on the realtime/millisecond system is in effect!
I want to use the rest of this newspost to inform you about the changes and answer your questions about how to find, and of course, use the programs or plugins you need to see the realtime of your demo:
Updated Rules/FAQ
Let's start with the rules first. Of course the Rules and the FAQ had to be updated as well. If you want to submit a demo in the future please make sure you have read the latest rules. You can find both pages under the following links: Rules and FAQ. It is strictly forbidden to change your keys/binds/aliases during a run, they must be set before you start the timer.
You should also make sure to use the new filename, when submitting a new record: kz_map_jumper_xxxx.xx.rar
2 Demos removed
During the process of re-checking all demos for their realtimes we found out about 2 significant demos: kz_pit had to be removed because the timer wasn't used indeed (at first our demo admins thought it was a "bug" similar to the kz_kzfr_rabbithighway bug, but it wasn't). Also kz_man_eznasa had a weird bug: It required kz_man_nasa in your counter-strike directory instead of kz_man_eznasa, which made it uncheckable in all the new tools. It's sad to lose a record due to such a weird bug, but I hope that you understand our decision to remove that demo.
Find out the realtime of your records
If you want to find out the realtime of your records there are two ways to achieve that:
1. By using the Official XJ AMXX pack v2.1 which includes a timer that shows the realtime (with millisecond support) in the end of the run. Note: There might be slightly wrong times if the game is tabbed or running under heavy cpu load (which is affecting the gametime) - and we can't fix that problem. If you are facing such problems try to avoid tabbing your game and make sure there are no running cpu/memory using programs in your background.
2. By using eDark's new program DemoChecker. This is the program our demoadmins will be using as well, therfore the time you see in this program is the correct time you should use to control (if you think you might have lagged ingame and the plugin showed the wrong time) and submit your demo. The program is available in a x64 version as well as in a x86 version.
If there are more questions feel free to use the comments and ask ;)
/Update:
Make sure you re-download the Official XJ AMXX pack, it was updated to 2.1 a few minutes ago and a little visual bug in the "end of the run" message was fixed: bugfix.

Best regards,
Your XJ team :)
