maybe worst run movie edit ever. im so sad that you choosed moviemaking.fr for this job :( somehow that just doesnt fit to xj good style. videos like these should be the moviemakers first fails in beginning, not in xj frontpage. just simple, but litlle idea ofc so it would be better than just demo. 26 gj, nice honda and you fail gyzmo sry :)

you should not give this color effect for the whole movie, but just maybe for some parts of it. now i dont link it, cause we cant see the real design of the map. run 5/5 edit 2/5

Honestly, the editing isn't bad. The Effects are just over done. You could have done with out the coloring and just left the normal textures. However, like I said, the editing is well done, where the one part it leaves the body and watch's him climb and then re enters the players body was great. Music was great too. 3/5 for the edit and 5/5 for the run. Good work.

Hush is uber, don't mess with that movie because is 1000 times better comparated with this one.. ON: I liked this movie but not so much.. First of all reminds me kz mod.. I'm talking about that you can appreciate the style of the player.. but use those textures for all the run.. doesn't look good.

ndR i know hush style, it's nice with guns actions, it should be good on kreedz too if it would be smth like ~10sec or just like 'flicker'. It looks rly weird on kz sometimes.

I got the whole point of him trying to introduce something new to us, but that honestly wasnt in any way appealing to my eyes. I feel like im not watching a kreedz player jumping, but im feel like this what a 5 year old would watch, going from one color to another. Didnt look good, im not taking anything away from GyZmO or moviemaking.fr, but you cant make movies like this....with that kind of edit, this run of the week, not [b]UBER MOVIE OF THE YEAR[/b] it should just be a simple kind of edit nothing spectacular.

cant watch it atm but i doubt this has anything to do with hush exept for lightmaps (which wasnt even new when hush came out) @tweek: thats what most people do and it sucks ballst. Either do a movie only with lightmaps (without one single scene with normal textures) or do it without, but never mix it please... @ndr: hush is overrated lul

Orginal edit with hush-style gave for me enjoyable movie. Me personally liked it, was cool as colours were changed, because without this maybe would be boring and I totally agree with ndR. Gr8 edit + sick run gave us a mix of something new. Gj both!

As said a thousand times before, people watch WR movies for the run, not the edit. Keep it clean, keep it simple! It looks like mm.fr is always trying to make something "new" well, I'd rather just see a nice run with music and zero edit.

It's weird, people keep complaining that they want to see the RUN not the edit. What the fuck? Did you not see 26 jumping or not? You didn't see the maps original colours, that's about it. It was a pity some of the blocks blended in with the ground color so you couldn't see the edges of the blocks but I didn't mind watching it because I actually know the map -.-. Maybe should've added a 4th (or 5th) for the ground so you could've easilly see the edges. You can see 26 jumping just like he was doing it in the demo. "People watch the wr for the run" wtf is the point of making movies then anyway? Just watch the damn demo he submited here in the first place, play music in the background. I for one don't want to see the exact same thing if I would be using playdemo in my console. It's a movie, not a demo.

hush movie is so overrated... what's the point making movie if you can't see what player did?Movimakers are so overrated this day's.If you whant to spend much time on editing then spend it on trick jumps,or long jumps show... Imo this kind of editing isn't good for anything... Maybe gyzmo is good moviemaker but this kind of edit will not help him surely...

uhm first of all comparing this to hush... uhhh that's just wrong lol. HUSH is truly a extremly innovative and original masterpiece. even with normal textures and no lightmap-effect it would probably be one of the most creative and athmospherical movies ever made, the basis (concept, soundtrack, effects, technical performace, cut/sync, content) is rly great aswell, its not like "omg doesnt look like real cs, this is shit))" in HUSH you can see every single actione exactly like you would notice it in a "normal" fragmovie, pray just added this extremly fresh (for 08) and good lookin lightmap-effect to it and a very unique editing-style now for this ROTW: its ok and it could have been cool but this was just a very poor performance by gyzmo. technically as creativly just weak and not cool to watch :/ 26's run... ofc insane, as i said for in the release-comments one of the best demos i've seen. btw malcolmx made stormzz movie via green lightmap, the whole movie was made in "HUSH"-style and it was eyecandy, just extremly good. he stopped editing for some reason...

best jumpmovie so far. despite a cool effect, jumps were still good to see. atmo great too. this wasnt overedited. in fact it was quite simple. 1 good working effect, 1 good song and 1 1st/3rd person outzoom/inzoom at the exact right time.

Ok many people posted their opinions but i'll leave my opinion here too. The whole idea isn't bad and i don't seem to have any problems watching a different movie but when it comes to such a run maybe this wasn't the best option available.Sure a big gj to gyzmo who put some work into this but i would rather want to see this kind of effects on some tjs maybe 10 5s in a movie.For a run it's way to much and the map's environment is way too good to be ignored.

Gargoyle, the thing is that it's easier to just watch the run on youtube/own3d.tv (maybe with some nice colors and cool music), then downloading the demo and paste it in the cstrike folder and then run cs to view it (also, if you don't have the map, you'll need to download that as well). The edit itself was actually great, but the fact remains (most people) would like to see the run and not the edit. Like juhuu said, the effect just doesn't fit a WR run. The reason being that the focus is on the run and not the edit (from a spectator's point of view).
