nice run and edit but i was expecting a koukou's demo, for exaple dethvalley, or zhady on cellblock (i imagine that eners for next ROTW, or perhaps run of the year lol). Anyways, gj both!

It can be done even seconds faster. Someone who held the WR before did three bhops right before jumping in the water while 26 did two. So 02:05.xx or 02:06.xx will be the time in near future. Edit was.... nice i guess.

I don't fully understand the concept of ROTW completely. I mean this is a good WR, but zhady's cellblock is on a different level. ndR said something about making KZ more famous with ROTW. I think that's the wrong attitude towards it. Should be the best run imo - it could be really cool with a public vote.

For those who have lags: It's a problem caused with Flash 10 and the own3d.tv player (it will be updated soon). In the meantime please use Firefox to enjoy the videos in a smooth/correct way. About the ROTW run: I kinda agree, posted that in the admin forum already and there is some disucssion going on. However, this video was finished 1 day before the last demo release was made even, so it was impossible to put zhady's run into this weeks ROTW. If smth like that could work there would be major coordination needed, between the ROTW and XJ dmeo admins (1 release per week or smth).

How do u choose rotw? every admin goes for a specific demo? and what demo has the most votes wins?.Very impressive demo but there's room for improovment here.Like some of the above guys said cellblock or kzsca_broken or even 1 of kkz's demos deserved more rotw.Anyway gj [flag]cn[/flag] [b]26[/b]

This is a matter of taste, check out the comments, half of the members love it, the other half dislike it, it's like every movie, there will always be people who love and other who hate, what do you want to do about that? The main point is to promote the KZ maps and Xtreme-Jumps via Moviemaking.fr which has a lot of visitor and which is seeable almost everywhere on the web (just check out SK-Gaming video channels and you'll understand). Scary, the best run? According to who? to which standards? Player's style? Awesome time? Beautiful map? There's NO possibility to totally define what's the "best" WR, it's like trying to define what's the best painting between two famous pieces of Art...

I think zhady's demo will be in the next ROTW. for those who think I should have got a rotw, dont think that, they are my biggest haters! these moviemakers, that i absolutely don't care about, seem to hate me much without good reasons! you wont see any rotw with me . so i think 26's run was suitable for this ROTW, though the cartoon edit was done already, try to create something new

Now I don't wanna start a big discussion about this, because I respect all the work and effort put into this by the admins. But... I disagree with you Yohan, I think you can easily rate what maps are hardest-fought for. I mean, someone comes along beats sandblock, goldbhop, xtremeblock, ultrablock, westblock, 3ways x, or any other "most-wanted" demo, it's easy to see that the competition on these maps have way higher standards than the competition on a map like brickvalley. Look at xtremeblock, so many of the big guys have had this map through time, it's been beaten and beaten over and over again, making it tougher and tougher each time especially because of the players who have had it, tend to beat maps convincingly - making a record on that map harder than a record on brickvalley, sorry to say. But ofcourse you couldn't do so much, because zhady's cellblock was released too soon. But I think it's unfair to zhady and to everyone if you wont pick zhady because he has had one already. Imo the best maprun deserves ROTW. I don't want to involve myself too much into this conversation, it's up to the admins, but the idea of making a public vote is still something that would be extremely fun, both for recorders and for spectators.
