[i]Funny coincidences like the top 4 record-holders having a no of WRs all ending with the digit 7 are hilarious and at the same time harmless,.. But something like this demo release is not even close to that. Although I'm pretty sure you made the newspost with the best of the intentions and no sort of disrespect to puppetz whatsoever, but the way it was presented can easily be mis-interpreted and you cant blame them cuz the post is itself misleading... When some kreedzer comes up with 10-12 WRs in a single newspost and when he's highlighted its normal. he deserves that kind of attention for all his hard work. But a newspost completely dedicated to extract fun out of many of his records broken will not always be perceived with humor... All five fingers of the hand are different and so are all individuals. Some ppl might be a bit more sentimental so as to not observe the humor in the newspost. Put yourself in puppetz place for a couple of mins, I dont think you'd find it humorous then. I get so accustomed to the mentality of many members that I'm not surprised anymore. It seems that most of you always see the negative side of such events. OK maybe you don't like Vee's comment, but you gotta accept that it is obviously not dropped with an offensive mind, if you just think 2 minutes, you can just accept that it's a kind of answer to puppetz's old release. OK maybe you like puppetz's demos, but what's wrong if 7D and me decided to save few demos and drop it at the same time? Don't we deserve the WRs anyway? Stop crying because he lost few demos. I don't really get the joke? When I did those 20 demos I wasn't trying to humiliate anyone. Nearly all of my records are done on maps that I really love, and that's the whole reason I even did kz records - because it was fun pushing my favourite maps to the limit. Yes, I took 5 demos from 7D, but we seem to share the same map taste and both of us want records on the maps we like, so that's why we used to battle on them. I've never seen something like this, a newspost only with demos taken from a specific jumper, and to be honest it reminds me of when ndR and zhady was battling and was really pissed at each other for taking each other's records all the time. It's a bad start for you as an admin, Vee.

Some words... puppetz: It wasn't Vee who removed the stuff, it was me (after I had a conversation with Vee). I assure you that he wanted to keep you guys entertained and did this release with good intentions and didn't plan to offend or embarrass anyone; especially not you puppetz. However, I admit that the topic and text that were chosen were a bit inappropriate and after the controversy they caused I figured it would be the right move to delete them. I know things can't be undone, but it is still the right sign to remove them and admit that we did a mistake. Last but not least I want to excuse towards anyone who felt offended, especially puppetz. - About the milliseconds: Sure, you guys (kkz and 7D) are right, it's an effort to beat any of the WR's, no matter how fast you beat them. If you get the demo you were clearly better than the old recorder and have all reasons to be proud of yourself. Anyway, the "spectators" and users do not only judge/care about the fastest time, they want to be entertained and rather see big improvements than small ones, therefore small improvements get rather less "respect" than big ones. Same applies for normal counter-strike, if a team wins a match by pure camping or laming (I know it's just theoretically because pure camping is not really effective when it comes to professional teams) the spectators/user won't be amused and probably won't be congratulating the winner team, even though they won and made it to the next round. I know it might be frustrating to see the spectators/users to only watch and "judge" about you without brining any accomplishment (nor experience, when it comes to recording or telling how hard it is to get a record), but it's just natural. Entertainment is a part of this (and every) game. - It’s also sad to see that some (of the intelligent and time-honored members) are always speaking of XJ in the same and inappropriate unification, when it comes to bad things/mistakes. XJ is no big company with quality control; it's a pool of individual persons that are working at no charge. Individual persons do individual mistakes, everyone is human. Still we try to make the best out of it and make everyone happy. Please think about that.

1) I don't really mind if someone wants to attack another demoholder by releasing all the demos at once (as a joke), that's good for the competition and I like some action. Maybe you don't like it but it's part of the game, it's a battle afterall. So that's fine in my opinion. What I don't like is the fact that Vee is actually giving some people more rights than they should have (had). You gave koukouz and 7D the right to humiliate puppetz in a way they else never could, by adding a great humiliating and disrespectful title. Hahaha, sorry, but I need to comment this. What the fuck is wrong with you people flaming at the ones taking these records (koukouz and 7D) and the one posting it. Do all of you guys really take yourselves (flibo and such) and taking world records so seriously? that just makes me laugh. Don't get me wrong, I love spending some time on jumping, and watching the best record on a map. But you need to get some sand out of your vagina's if you can feel offended by this. And think about this seriously. Why flame someone who dedicated hours and hours per week to keep you satisfied (Vee made releases when no-one else was around to do them). Otherwise you would ve whined about not getting releases for over 24 days. And especially koukouz did amazing times on those maps, who gives a fuck about you seeing people as legends or favourites. If you're a real kz fan, you'll see that koukouz took off almost 30 seconds on a map. Why can you not just congratulate him and 7D! And puppetz, I've met you on public once, and you were a nice guy. But don't take your alias so serious. This is not real life and a joke is a joke, people should really smile alot more, instead of try to hang them for trying to make people smile. Anyway, I'm still smiling at your comment, it's a compliment in some way, for you to think I play 150 hours/2 weeks to beat such ammount of wrs ^^ I actually needed ~5 hours in total to beat the 7 demos in the last release,4 were made in 2h30, just saying so you know. And indeed, I'm here for fun only, since when isn't it fun to go on your lan and try to beat a wr? it's called sense of competition. I feel very sorry for you if everytime you try to beat a wr, you don't have fun. At least it's the only thing (at the moment) that keeps me entertained in the CS world. Concerning KeltA's ban, I'm not in Vee's place, but it seems obvious that it's not the same problem. Vee made his joke (bad or not, it's up to people's tastes) with absolutely no hate involved, whereas kelta dropped his "joke" (i'm not really convinced though) when already 200 persons were spitting all their hate on Vee, so it was a bit hard , in this mood, to interpret such comment as a joke. And yeah, last thing, enjoy your ban indeed :)

Seems to me Vee thought that this joke would be hilarious and he would get reputation for being a funny admin - a joke gone wrong. I doubt Vee intended too insult puppetz, although it may look like it. Ofcourse the people who play kz 50+ hours a week are pissed off out of their minds Vee should know their is people who take kz very seriously. However me despite not playing so much kz nowdays Vee is at fault here because not only is puppetz one of the best jumpers he is also one of the coolest -if not the coolest- (in my opinion) and he doesn't really deserve this. Anyway I'm sure if puppetz is annoyed right now he could beat most of them back and maybe get a little revenge of his own. Still nice demos though from koukouz and 7D.
