Forum Cleanup
Hello, forum readers!
Today is a very important day for us, forum admins, and for Xtreme-Jumps as a whole. This is what you may call the D Day for the forums on the new upcoming era of our beloved website.
A forum cleanup operation is now on course to go through every post of every thread of every page of every forum in our forums section. During this period, the forum will be available just as usual, as we will be working on the background.
How will it be done?
As previously said, the forum cleanup team, which consists of some of the forum admins, is going through the forums to sweep out the trolling, spamming and off-topicness of Xtreme-Jumps. While the cleanup process is ongoing, you may receive automatic messages from the forum cleanup team about your behavior on the forums, obviously containing no link (since the post will be deleted).
I received a warning by PM. What now?
First, please do not reply to your warning. Admins will only warn you if you did make a mistake, and therefore discussing will be pointless. Second, if you have been a good member and haven't stained the forums with bad behavior, just ignore the warning as it may just as well refer to a very old post you made. Third and most important, you should take the warnings very seriously. Members that continuously stain the forums will be warned or even directly banned (at admin's discretion) in the future.
I have been warned more than once. What does it mean?
If you have been warned more than once, please ignore the other warns as it was probably an honest mistake from us.
Can I contribute somehow?
Unfortunately, only selected forum admins can participate on the cleanup. We kindly ask you not to message any of us with messages like "this guy is spamming!", "hey, I found a troll!" or anything like that during the cleanup process, since we will already be taking care of him sooner or later. You contribute by being a good member and obeying the website's rules.
-
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to you and hope you understand that this is a crucially necessary measure at this moment for Xtreme-Jumps.
Once the cleanup is done, a new newspost will be made to clarify what was done and what will happen in the future.
-
As a personal note, I would like to thank faker for the initial idea of performing such a task.
If you have any questions, please ask them on the comments page and one of our admins will be more than happy to help you.
Let's make the forums an enjoyable place to stay once again. :)
Let the slaying begin! (Ok, ok, I may have gotten overexcited, sorry).
Yours,
Vee & Xtreme-Jumps
