Alternative to the former league

In the comments of the extreme league we got a very positive resonance from the community. It seems like you want live matches to be hosted by us and that is what we will try to do. So I promised an alternative to the last league and the whole concept is presented in our extended news item.

not bad but some ideas from me : 1.Imo it would be best for the league to have some prices (like 1 month gold or silver or whatever) 2.Personally i would love it if i could choose myself the players of the league (for example a pool or something and the 8 who have the most votes get into the tournament? That way it would be more successful) And will the dates of the tournament be announced soon or is it still in development ?

However, we may or may not decide to give the winner some sort of consolation, be it VIP or else wise. Each week we will try and choose 7 different jumpers, and also allow the winner of the previous week to participate in the following week if they choose. This way, we have a consistent flow of players in the tournaments. So if you don't get chosen one week, you may look forward to upcoming weeks. Eventually, we plan to raise the amount of people in monthly tournaments (not weekly, meaning one time a month.)

triple post, ftw! I misread your original post, and yes that is actually a good idea, to elect the 8 jumpers. However, when we chose our players we will be looking for consistency of some skill as well as scheduling. Your idea will be looked at more closely in following days though!

as pointed out by Fire and beginner, the 8 players that are selected should be close to eachothers skill... or it will be pretty pointless, or at least the tournament will end pretty fast xD great idea non-the-less. hope it works out! if i can participate, then i will surely join :D

Gj XJ Staff :) There is nothing wrong with makeing mistakes as long as u dont let go and keep moveing forword :) this new format of the league looks way better then the last one :) Still there are going to be some problems the few days of playtime will still produce some unserius players... But for shure not as mutch as the old league :) Rly looking forword to seeing the matches Gj :) All so u shud consider some penelty's for the Leavers like for example if they leave the tournament they loose all rights to play in the next 2/3 tournaments and get added to wall of shame ;)

There we are chrizzo. This system is great, really can't see any disadvantages, especially since the skill-level is taken into consideration, which probably could make out a pretty big problem. I was also thinking that perhaps you should do a special tournament once a year, in where the people who've won the most tournaments should be allowed to participate and the winner of that tournament should be the "[b]tournament king[/b]" (or whatever) and have a special icon for a year (Perhaps once a year is to much, but then every third og sixth month and then only let them have the icon until the next "king" is chosen) This would only work if you have a weekly tournament though.

Looking at faker's picture, I've figured out, that people would flow very fast. So 8-players league is a good choice. Because of this, there's no need to punish afking people hard — would be too many punished. Just lower their chances to participate in next tournament. And I think, more important than a successful events is a good tradition of events. This way people will learn to not afk, when they needed or in other words raise their responsibility.

Nice ;) I think it's semi-final not half final. And it would be nice that it would be leagues like A B C D varies of players skill or smth, if you win league B for eg you preceed to league A and somth like that. Would be nice.eebyu
