Changes on XJ
Hey guys,
today I'm here to keep you up-to-date with some of the recent changes on our community Xtreme-Jumps.
1. Website changed
1. For those who didn't notice it yet, m0ver created a new function called BDOW vote, where you can vote for the demos you enjoyed watching the most. More details about the system and its rules can be found at the page itself.
2. From now on you are able to upload your config to your XJ profile . Thanks to m0ver for yet another cool functions. We hope you like it as much as we do and keep using it ;)
3. Some of you might have already noticed that there is a new box in the right menu with a google custom search in it. This function is called KZ search and is a search function that will take you to a special google page that browses all kz-related websites, youtube and own3d.tv. We think it is a really cool feature and hope that you are going to like it :)

4. Another thing you might have noticed is that several new ads have been added to the site: and some others will follow within the next days weeks.
You should know that this is a test period where we are trying to find out which ones you like and might contain useful information for you guys out there and which do not. After a month of evaluation we are going to decide which of them are going to stay and which of them are going to be removed again. Please note that them oney we will earn from them will be solely used for XJ, this means it goes either into the sever or will be used to get further ressources (if needed) and/or as prizes to future tournaments.
So if you see something interesting in them and want to support XJ (and therefore yourself) you know what to do ;)
2. XJ Youtube channel
According to the results and what the numbers of the recent poll are implying, we have decided to update our youtube channel named XtremeJumpsEU. All of the ROTW have been uploaded to it, as well as some of the recent KZ movies - and all of the movies on XJ will follow within the next days. Also ndR is working on a better channel design, a much better one is already uploaded and he's working on improving it within the next hours/days.
So if you didn't suscribe to our channel yet you should better get going!
3. Staff changes
It's no big secret, there have been some activity problems on XJ lately, especially when it comes to some guys in our staff. It was time to analyze the problem and solve it. We do speak to our people first before decisions are made, which might take some time before you get a final answer of course, and that's what we did and that's why some of our staff members left the staff or have to leave it: bl1zZ, knoxville, rEs0LuTe and MepH are no longer part of the XJ staff.
I want to use this oppurtunity to thank you again for all the work you did for XJ and wish you the best of luck for your future!
Also I feel that our belvoed member TinTin needs to be mentioned in here, who stepped back into the inactivity because he found a new love, called Trackmania United. He is managing his own team and community there, so he had to step back from his XJ duties. Thanks again for all the things you did for XJ, without you XJ wouldn't be where it is today.
Furthermore we are going to establish a auto-cup system in the future which will allow you guys to play cups 24/7. However, this needs to be developed and coded first, so in the meantime we will be recruiting several new admins again, starting off with a new cupadmin that goes by the name of niki. If you're interested in any admin position please drop a comment or just fill out the application form that is going to be finished soon. I have some other great news for you amx/coding wise anyway, they will be out in a few days so stay tuned!
4. Weekly team changes
The weekly team got a few new members as well, please welcome 2006, fizik, Lazze and NeYoXDDD.
Furthermore I want to remind you that the members of the weekly team are not considered as members of the XJ staff, there has been some confusion and misunderstanding about it lately. This way the weekly can work and operate more independently and almost everyone out there who is interested in joining the team, can be offered a slot (trial period) in the team (that doesn't mean that XJ admins can't be part of the weekly crew, of course). However, one guy, the project leader A3T!U$ is a member of the staff, of course, because he is coordinating the project and posting the newsposts. So if you think you can contribute and find some top-secret intel for the team you shouldn't hesitate to contact the main man himself, A3T!U$.
