XJ WEEKLY RELOADED #14

By w1zzrecord holder·
Hello XJ!!!

Another Weekly has been prepared for our readers this week, featuring many Movie Reviews and Projects, Demo Reviews and an interesting interview with a Swedish oldschooler. However, the Weekly Crew urges you to participate as much as you can. As it can be seen, the Rumors are missing this week. If you have any kind of information that you think might fit as an article in the Weekly, do not hesitate to pm any of the crew members. For now, sit back and enjoy the read.

[flag]dk[/flag] Scary, keep those posts out of the pipeline, please, it's counter-productive. Edit: I believe my tone was soft but clear enough. :)

01/12/2010 02:22:00

And so did the the first rumour ever fake-started in XJ's Weekly gas out. Cheers guys! ;) probs to the Weekly writers! Two thumbs up! Oh and Vee, remember to keep those pipelines clean... (XJ's Weekly 5 or 6, if I remember correctly.)

01/12/2010 15:05:00

I don't like quotes of the week, because they are just empty posts without any proper context - they're even often completely unrelated to the thread (or any other subjects). Falling into the grips of the idiocratic waves of mainstream media we come face to face with the empty "context" of the false reality which is presented to us as the absolute truth. This can only have a negative effect in either our subconscious interpretation methods of the context of true media presentations, or it can alter our original nature in a more vulgar way. Such obscenities must be cleansed. Everything else was quite enjoyable, though. The thing which had the most positive effect on me was the interview with [flag]se[/flag] a0ke. It wasn't just refreshing in the obvious aspect of seeing such a legendary name take part in anything related to the present state of the Kreedz-scene, but the context of the interview was also informative and the way it was presented was compact and had some sort of warmth into it. Perhaps there are many things to improve, even by a significant margin, in these seemingly fantastic weeklies, but as we have no worse ones in the history of Xtreme-Jumps (or any other kz-community) to compare them to we cannot distinguish many flaws in it. For now these reports have been fascinating and enjoyable, and I hope the level of quality stays firm and resolute. Even though it is hard to find improvable things in these weekly reports, I can find some small things which could ease up the readers general level of comfort. Add some links to the reviewed movies. This small upgrade occured to me when I didn't have an internet connection for almost a week and when it finally started working I instantly opened the browser and as Xtreme-Jumps as my homepage my eyes were drawn into the Weekly. I opened it up, read the context and as I had been withdrawn from any internet-activities for a period of a few days I could not have seen the reviewed movies - I could not relate any of your words to them until I viewed them. The reviews are great, but a link to the movie would be a minor upgrade. Links could also be added to demo reviews. Another thing to work on is cohesiveness when it comes to some smaller details. When reading these texts I sometimes spot a spelling error, but that does not make me furious at all when comparing my emotional states when I notice something which seems to be a matter which isn't being paid any attention on by the crew. This cohesiveness I am talking about is the very same attribute as pithyness. When there is a paragraph about various players, please do not use flags in a FEW of the players, but be solid and use them properly. It is a peculiar sight to witness when I read something about, for example, news about KZ-Scandinavia and I see flags randomly placed in front of various names. Why isn't the usage solid, I ask. There are some other subjects which continue to drive me even madder than I already am. Some of the people who have a picture of a crazy lunatic might find the deepening of my inner chaos being a mere impossibility, but certain subjects can shake things up even when you're all shaken up. Imagine being inside a bottle of Coca-Cola, you are some combination of the atoms which consist the liquid inside the bottle and somehow you have clear consciousness and awareness of your surroundings. Imagine that the bubbles which rise up are the madness of your reality, they continuously rise up in your undisturbed state. Suddenly your reality gets completely shocked as you get picked up from the table, you get shaken up and not only the carbonic acids start getting more active, but the whole thing which keeps you together is at hazard. This is something completely unexpectable as your perception of reality was previously only located into the space within the bottle. This is how madness can spread further within a mind which is already plagued by craziness. You might be asking what this subject which shakes me up could possibly be, and I can give you an answer to that immediately: the ignorant posts by the members of this community. "Good weekly", "Nice", "Good job". Posts like this are just as empty in their context as the quotes of the week.

01/12/2010 15:10:00

sry for typos lol there were plenty :DAS

01/12/2010 17:59:00

First of all, thanx for making the comments count to 50 this week :P Also, I am grateful that you cared enough to point out the drawbacks :) About the Quote of The Week,, its sometimes intended to bring a smile to the face and even bring out the dark side of a farce. But yes, sometimes we do fail in both. We'd try and narrow that down as much as possible. Also, next week onwards, we'd include the links as you pointed out, so it becomes easier for the readers to get an instantaneous feel of the reviews. Also, you'd be noticing a definite pattern in the names with unbiased uniformity next week onwards. And about the "ignorant posts", sometimes they are made simply to encourage the crew to work harder and show a lil appreciation for their hard work (might not be their best work always but still)

01/12/2010 21:27:00

Its like a visual eyegasm when I jump upon your reviews, kafds - no wonder you are insanely good at expressing yourself; the literary values that you throw up like mere trifles are a digital asset to this community. :D

01/12/2010 23:55:00

I agree with kafds on the links to the movies part :) Besides that, I must say kafds you are very good with words. It's rather delightful to see such wellwriten suggestions here on XJ. I like your Coca Cola example although it's exadurated. I hope you are the atom that spreads the "madness" of more beneficial comments.

02/12/2010 04:07:00

Kafds, you just wrote an entire weekly yourself as a comment...... apply. It is my biggest wish for christmas.
