2006 adopted italian brother or just a finnish guy ? ''Weekly #16'' i hope we will see the truth there.. :))

06/12/2010 00:12:00

nice Cypek good movie geddyK ;pp

06/12/2010 00:18:00

@Nubz: 2006 was born in Italy, but he lives in Finland. Great Weekly. Can't say I fully agree with Lagster's point, but I sure can understand it.

06/12/2010 00:21:00

didn't really enjoy it that much, demo reviews were nice though O_O the interview was okay

06/12/2010 00:37:00

hahhah, epic quote :D

06/12/2010 01:36:00

i would like too see a "kafds section" in weekly :D

06/12/2010 02:07:00

@ Demo containing no Steam ID What if a recorder types 'status' in console? Don't you have his steamid (confirmed) then? Edit by Vee: A rather interesting idea. I'm very curious on how that would go, since the Steam ID saved on demos is probably retrieved from Steam server (as the status command does). I would really like to see someone doing that in a 0-IDed demo.

First of all I would like to give all the writers a huge outcry of veneration. This specific weekly was probably the best one written so far, and I am impressed by everything it contained. I am also glad to see Lagster back in Xtreme-Jumps with his insightful views in these certain important subjects. I wish he wrote an essay to have his ban removed from this website, but I guess he has too much pride for such a submissive act. Stay strong! Shortly said: this weekly contains 100% prominent information and seems more formal and informative, whilst still withholding its entertaining values. I truly sat back and enjoyed the read, but in anticipation of the next article I could not relax. I read all the paragraphs and I was expecting to find some article which I wouldn't have cared to read very attentively, but sadly the weekly was perfect. I got an idea for an article! Write about the importance of clans in the world of Kreedz. A lot of people claim that clans are blatantly useless in this aspect of Counter-Strike, as we don't necessarily take matches against one another. Despite these accusations I see a lot of positive and beneficial sides in climbing clans. The people who get chosen/accepted into such clans as kz.random or insilio are definitely proud of themselves and do not want to be removed from clans with such good reputations. Clans help players, mappers, moviemakers and writers to strive towards success to impress and make themselves more useful in the clan they are a part in. Clans also help people unite in a very good way, I've befriended many players from insilio while I've been in the clan as a writer/journalist. Maybe that would be a good idea for an article..? P.S.: Thanks for listening to some of my points in the comment I wrote to the previous weekly. Even though the message might've had a tone too serious, you put some of my suggestions into reality. A lot of respect for that! Also, great quote of the week. :-)

[blockquote]Thanks for listening to some of my points in the comment I wrote to the previous weekly.[/blockquote] We are all about making the esteemed members of XJ happy :)

06/12/2010 07:09:00

You need to reformat that section about long jumping. The weekly was good, but that section is unreadable almost.

06/12/2010 13:46:00

[blockquote]You need to reformat that section about long jumping. The weekly was good, but that section is unreadable almost.[/blockquote] ^ true.. i have read the whole weekly except the lj stuff Edit by Vee: By the time you posted this, it was already reformatted! Please tell us if you like the new format, or I'll give it a new try.

06/12/2010 14:00:00

what if you add the cmd sv_lan 0, then ur steamid can't change to steam id lan, you should tell us if any demo rejected by you was done with players on the lan, or jsut the recorder (sv_lan 1) Edit by Vee: In appreciation for your comment, I have myself tested whether sv_lan could trigger this particular behavior, and the tests showed that, even though in sv_lan 1 you don't see your ID with the status command (but STEAM_ID_LAN instead), the demo saves it correctly.

06/12/2010 14:20:00

moviemaking since 2005? wow.. this one had an amazing atmosphere while reading it! I would be excited to see some 3D work in his (maybe?) becoming projects. Good job chrizZo and FoF!

06/12/2010 14:29:00

<- wrong section XD @Vee he is a player who used to nick nebus/neb (Nebusboy @ YouTube) he told he is an adopted brother of nebus? XD he is just the same finnish guy trying to clear up his name

06/12/2010 15:25:00

@ Nubz that is true. He has changed his nick so many times after things went bad for him. I'm a bit confused too, I thought he was just a ordinary kid from Finland.

06/12/2010 16:46:00

MOVIE REVIEWS AND PROJECTS were the best for me this week!

06/12/2010 17:54:00

@Vee The formatting is better then it was, not much to change but a couple breaks here and there but its manageable now. Good work kids.

06/12/2010 19:27:00

Great Weekly, Ill also post some demos. ;)

06/12/2010 19:33:00

all I really want to see is a interview with eDark or with heat or with oTcHeTo or FoF

06/12/2010 20:01:00

other jumpers I would to see a interview with would be : heL^_x,t3dbundy,Bibo)

06/12/2010 20:05:00

I like the eDark idea starwars. Its good to get other people then just the main jumpers on the KZ scene involved. E.g. Current staff, previous staff, community leaders, people who may be known but not for their records. You should try bringing the community closer together with interviews and the weekly. So far so good!

06/12/2010 23:44:00

NUMBAH#1 weekly!!!

07/12/2010 00:30:00

nice weekly with the steamid issues and the state over longjumping. btw never thought a quote of mine will be taken XD

07/12/2010 16:03:00

Nicely written and it's easy to read, Lagster! I want to read about that 10k hours research, can you share a link? Thanks in advance. Heh, I've never thought about length of my career in kz, but article gave me a clue — turns out, I'm stuck here forever! My greatest goal is to play all of the kz maps. :)

08/12/2010 23:02:00

I dont know how you make the demo-reviews but you should watch this first http://xtreme-jumps.eu/e107_plugins/weekly_vote/week_top.php?week=48&year=2010 instead of choosing the demos at "admins discretion". Here the majority(almost all) of the community votes for the best demos of the week. And the thought of the week pointed some obvious facts about longjumping, cant find anything interesting in there. Other than that everything was entertaining to read, the tj challenge is great, cant wait to see the first movie.

T3d is planning a comeback!
