New real time events

Some months ago the hard/extreme league was stopped, but since it had a great resonance from the community I thought it is time to restart the project. Our goal is once again to implement an alternative to the record business, but this time we will probably not only run an improved league, we will also organize other events.

1. Honestly I don`t have the slightest idea how to join/who is able to join. 2. The matches are live on xj`s cup server or do we have to play 2 matches on each other`s LAN servers? 3. This is related to the first question. Who is able to join tournaments and who is able to join the league? As far as I know(reading the former league rules), to join the upcoming 'league' you have to be a record holder? and what about tournament/s? Apply in comments and the staff selects the players. There will be more than one tournament so don't think you won't have a chance again when you're not chosen. 2. The matches are played on an online server, which is hosted by www.insilio.org. A hltv will be connected, so that people can spectate. IP adresses will be published later. 3. The former leagues and it's conditions have nothing to do with the new tournaments. Everyone is allowed to apply here, if there's a certain restriction for a future tournament the newspost about it will contain the information. I hope I was able to help you ;)

Great, another tournament reserved to record holders/admins. Some skilled people applied, but as they are too unknown to entertain the potential spectators, it's not worth adding them. I gotta love this mentality!

There should be a [b]definite basis for selection [/b](even by staff like voting in appropriate forums by the cup organizing staff). It could be first-come-first-serve basis, WR holder, clearing a certain preliminary selection process, etc but something should have been put in black and white at least. Nice to see XJ having some action again. But make sure the system is [b]just[/b] for all members and is not driven by randomness. Obviously the choice of players is random, but no person, no group and no other staff could ever change that fact. Since _a lot_ of these tournaments are meant to be played many people will have a chance sooner or later (of course not all). I can't change what is, if you are desperate about it annoy god with your concerns. We put / will put a lot of effort into running these tournaments and all you people talk about in comments is that the choice of participants is random. Do you guys really think we did not thought about this issue before and you're enlightening professor now? We already discussed if we seriously want to debate about whom to pick, but our conclusion was that's a huge waste of time, since we can't change the unfairness of the choice anyways.

My answer was not related to your post aetius. The difference is: You write down a critique that is meant to improve the league. You want to help me and your critics support my efforts, I know that. It's obvious because you even offer me your help directly ([i]...any help, let me know.[/i]. But there are other comments (and some private chats I had) where people not criticized, they moaned because the only intention they seem to have is to show off what is bad about this attempt. Instead of being happy that a new real time event is started with tiny (my opinion) gaps and flaws, they immediately start to attack the weak points in order to downplay the whole idea. Such comments have a destructive nature as the basis and that is what I convict. In my opinion we should use a forum thread to continue this discussion instead of the newspost comments. Anyways, the hate was unnecessary and it's my fault obviously, sorry, but I just can't understand the negative intentions of some members.
