zhady vs koukouz - 5:4
Congratulation to zhady for winning this tournament!
CyclopP, the match admin, wanted to say a few words about the last night happenings:
"As you probably witnessed at that moment, the match flow had to suffer due to some technical problems.
First it happened during the first match on kz_kzsca_ancientblock when koukouz's internet collapsed, thing that required to restart the match. The problems continued on the second map when the godmode command didn't work, both players dying while performing the shortcut. Because the rules clearly stated that the second map, kz_ea_parkblock will be played with godmode on, I had to try to solve the bug. Unfortunately the cvar commands didn’t respond, making every attempt I had for 10 minutes, to not succeed. I decided then to do a rematch, this time both players knowing that godmode is off, in order to have a fair battle.
By the time we got to play the third map, koukouz lost his focus, giving up the map to zhady. The score then was 3-0 for zhady and the remaining maps were in jeopardize to not be played. Quickly, I decided to have a private talk with koukouz, trying to save what was left of the match. I guess that the talk we had did solve something, as koukouz won the next 4 maps, making the result 4-3 for him, with two maps left. zhady managed to win on kz_facility, making the match on the final map to establish the winner. Unfortunately, the mentioned problems started to affect koukouz once more, giving up again the map.
As you can see, everything started with 2 technical problems, creating a chain reaction for what was to come.
As the match admin, I would like to apologize for any inconvenience you might have experienced. Currently there are admins working on updating the server and all other plugins we will use for future tournaments, to prevent any malfunctions from happening again.
Hopefully you are excited for the qualifiers and tournaments to come, as we prepared many new surprises.

The price
As you all know the price for the winner of this tournament was the gaming mouse Gigabyte M6980.
This would have been zhady's mouse now, but he refused his price. He stated that he does not need another mouse and would not use the Gigabyte. He suggested to send the mouse to someone, who actually needs one.
How we will determine the lucky receiver is still unclear at the moment. Currently the admins discuss about the topic to find a fair solution.
