AESTHETIC 2

Good evening!

I'm really proud to present Yohan's latest movie - AESTHETIC 2! This time we'll start with a brief view of the manuscript.

Following the concept of (first) AESTHETIC, ndR created a beautiful and unique ambiance with his fresh ideas in moviemaking. It's nice to see a movie with low tempo, it fits perfectly to this soundtrack.

Even though we build on as an ugly platform as Half-Life engine is, this is something very beautiful. To balance the overall result, ndR hired some actors. These high-skilled professionals did their job fine, doing the best thing that they are able to do - performing some trickjumps, with style.

Actors in order of appearance: IceVip, Lolz, S7R1K3R, WeMeRA, zyllEE,
prize, candEE, Nukk, Avatar and StormZz.

Now, before I write you a book, here we go with the movie itself, enjoy!

Just like the first one, a movie made to show the beauty in the uglyness of this engine (visuals part). It moves away from the tipical CS/KZ movie, as its main objective is to show the unseen part of a jump: how does a jump look when it's not viewed from 'first person' ? It wants to point out the incredible flow that a jump has and how amazingly it fits in the environment. The legend ndR managed to do that with class and style. Hopefully you can take this movie as it is, as the aesthetic part of Kreedz world and not the usual trickjump movie. It's something different, it's something unique, it's something beautiful and it's something AESTHETIC.

Prefer the first movie plenty times. This one shows the jumps tripple and quadruple and I can't enjoy them because eventhough it's slowmotion, the jumps get cut too fast and too much and you skipped them (wtf?!). Long ass Intro with annoying music, looks like two different concepts mixed together. Long story short: didn't like it at all. Sorry usually I'm not that harsh, but these typical ndr 1080° uber campaths are soooo annoying, really!

I totally understand your opinion jack, I tried to make the concept evolve by taking in consideration the numerous critics I got when the first edition was released ("too slow", "no 1st-view"). I admit it was hard to mix both things, but I'll do better next time =) Positive or negative, don't hesitate to share your opinions, it'll help me to improve.

It was a sad idea of thinking that any type of movie you'll make will get good feedback and be appreciated. The tricks deserved a better movie.

It's different from all the others KZ movies ,that's for sure. But somehow, i was a bit dissapointed of this one. I guess it's cause of too much slowmotion on campaths and the weird 1st person cuts. It's still better than almost 90% of the other movies but since your a good mmaker, i was expecting something better from you. [b]AESTHETIC [/b] was nearly perfect at any levels but the second one bored me a bit. The intro was great, it teased me but when the first part began, I though it was way too slow in relation to the rythm of the intro and his cuts. Of course Massive Attack(prefered their track you used on [b]AESTHETIC[/b] ) didn't help either, it was too slow-moving. It's still a great movie :). I especially liked prize's and StormZz's parts, pure art. Keep the good work. cheers!

Well I like it a lot, despite the fact that I'd like this "beauty of jumping" to be presented in a little faster way. I just wish you could come up with new idea's so that the movie wouldn't be slowmo all the way, and would still maintain the same atmosphere. I'm glad that u tried to make it better compared to the first part, but there's still some work to do imo. GJ ndR and jumpers. Definetly worth watching, eventhough 6 minutes of this might get boring to some. :)

tbh i dont like that this kind of movies, since i cant appreciate the tricks at all.. the slowmotion makes it boring, and too much campaths.. about the jumps, some combos were great, others not so much.. i couldnt see who did each trickjump, so i cant say gj no anybody specially, just to everybody :D keep the work ndr!

good job, ndR. liked it, but not as much as AESTHETIC 1. I mean.. the first movie's ending was like.. E-P-I-C-E-S-T edit ever ! nicely done anyways. 9/10

Tbh ndR? I don't like it at all... First of all, I really hated that you used the exactly same soundtracks as in your first movie. Second, well, it's difficult to describe, but the first movie was way better, I watched it so often and it's still enjoyable. This one, watched it once, and will never again. GJ for the effort, but this one failed pretty much.

kinda boring, imo, but couple of good jumps there, althought some of them were already performed in other movies. ps: nice outro. pss: just watched AESTHETIC #1 and saw 3 identical campaths(2 of them was on the same maps and on the same place) + same music in outro. I'm not picking, just saying.

I liked it. I liked being able to see every detail of the jump. Maybe it's because I haven't seen Aesthetic (the first) but I enjoyed the music as well.

i hated it. sorry i could't watch it at all, i love action and i loved the jumps but it was so fuckin boring >.< i also think that special campaths with moves that you do doesn't fix at the slow speed you gave to the movie. My opinion. keep

This movie primarily portrays the jumpdetails from an unseen aspect and emphasizes on the aesthetic point of view specifically targeted at a particular section of audience, so if viewers are expecting a pure mainstream-editing-adrenaline-rushing-fast paced - nevah-before-seen holyshitohmyf***god stuff, they wud be disappointed, 'cause its "just not meant for that". [b]endeR[/b] It surprises me to the core every damn single fckn day how much kzmoviemaking has evolved since the days of rayla back in '06 and how much you have evolved since the release of [i]"Oddyssey to '05"[/i] one year back till this day; ur works keep getting improved and the finer details are being taken care of at an almost-professional level. Intro was sick that gave me an almost movie trailer like experience, I haven't seen such a well-directed introstuff nowadays; the tempo pretty much died down after that; well never negotiating on the jump-standards, some of them were absolutely fascinating - (I enjoyed a lot watching wemera's/striker/zylee/avatar's stuff). Cams were ur typical standard, I like them a lot, though you kind of hyper-exaggerated some of them. Major pitfalls primarily could be noted prolly (imo) on the main base song, something more accelerated and flat-out stuff cud have been chosen upon, the outro was good that did built upon a sense of serenity; but don't stereotype that up, or else it'll get repetitive. Gl for future projects ;) [b]Admins[/b] Seems like nothing is available to normal members like us these days. I understand there may be a dearth of WebSpace, but giving a normal sendpsace/rapidshare link would do you no harm. Plz think abt it, thanx.

Watching the movie for a second time sure can change a person't opinion. The movie isn't bad. It's just - as most of the people say - different. ndR, what I didn't like was that some campaths weren't well picked and were cutting off the jumper, which I think is not good, not to mention strange, since you usually make impressive campaths. And correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that this video's biggest problem was the transition. On some places it just seemed too harsh and rough. And there weren't any transitions on some parts of the movie. At least for me that's what brought the bad opinion, unlike the slow and nice music, which I have to admit - do has a flow. And one last thing. You said "it'll help me to improve", will there be an aesthetic movie 3? The first one was better for me, and the idea might run out with a 3rd movie, however - if there will be a 3rd movie, do it the way you like. I think you should follow your own style and if it tells you not to include 1st person - don't! Maybe that's why I preferred the 1st movie, even though the colors there seemed better than this one. (Rays... and stuff... yeah :D ) I'll be looking forward to it :)

Well you polished this one to the maximum! :)The first one was something amazing because of slow mo smooth campaths, but this one is just like typical pro edited chill movie. I guess that it is because smooth campaths got so popular this year. Every time u was the first one who brings new things to cs movie making, but now there's nothing new I guess. Back in a day I saw a trailer on youtube of first kz [u]horror[/u] movie! Imagine that?! But now that project is dead and if it would be edited by you, it would be another masterpiece, another diamond that would shine in kz's history. I'm not saying that u should make exactly a horror movie, I'm just saying that just a new idea would bring everyone's eyes on it. And with your editing skills it would be goddamn amazing. It's time to move on! Good luck in future projects :)

[b]What I want to say good about this movie?[/b] : it's great work there and your campaths are [i]unique[/i] , the quality of the movie was as well .... perfect .. rare movie . [b]What I didn't like about this movie?[/b] : first of all .... compare it with Aesthetic 1 ...that one was better from aesthetic point of view . The slowmotion wasn't that bad... But what really broke for me the whole movie ... the song simply destroyed the movie ... ndR with all my respect to you , BUT THAT SONG IS AN OUTRO song mostly , not a body movie song =/ AT thirst I thought you'll use it only in intro , but then I understood that I have to watch the movie without any sounds to get the pleasure and point of the movie. Overall , I liked it , if not the song =/

I am not a movie maker and I can't even imagine how hard is to create something like this.I know that you put a lot of effort in this project so I am gonna try to give you some tips from a ,,viewers'' side.First of all I really liked intro and outro but that font which you used for intro looked ,,chip'' to me.Some of jumps didn't looked really aesthetic.On the other side you did fantastic job from 4:28 to 4:49,map,sync,colors,jump everything looked beautiful.Still Aestethic 1 was better for me mostly because of jumps and this time it looked like you didn't have proper material to work with.Don't get me wrong this jumps are uber hard but they were not aesthetic enough.Also I think that you shouldn't use 1st person view in this kind of movie.

About the trickjumps: the point is not to show the hardest trickjumps but the ones which fit the best the atmosphere of this project. AESTHETIC was really appreciated in the regular CS community, way more than XJ, it seems to be the same for the 2nd video. Anyway, thanks for the feedbacks!

When I first saw AESTHETIC I was blown away by it and I still am. The atmosphere of that movie was so legendary and I didn't think about it as boring when there were no 1st person views. AESTHETIC is number one for me. AESTHETIC 2 seemed to me like it didn't come from you. Didn't fit me your style really, I'd personally apperciate you getting back to where the AESTHETIC 1 was. Number 2 had nice music too but much faster then 1 and there were so many cuts(to sync it with the song) that I didn't enjoy it. I'd love to see the same jumps but with slower music, so I could savour every move - want it to be smooth. Anyway thank you for your work, though I expected something more.

I like the atmosphere, tho the syncing was way to "Rough", seemed, like u've only put time into the campaths :o. The HQ textures kinda sucked.. But i liked the outro a lot :)

I'll write what I wrote on YouTube, but a little bit extended. This stupid "I'm gonna make art with KZ and CS editing" thing has been taken too far. Make a movie that is interesting. Watching every single jump in super slow-motion, then in normal slow-motion is just too boring - no matter how impressive the trickjump is. Saying this isn't a massive edit is a lie, it is a massive edit, but it's all in slow-motion. I usually don't give a shit about KZ and movies anymore, but I said this because I like your movies normally. You're talented but this was a flop - unfortunately. Don't take it personally or anything like that, I'm just sharing my opinion. It's ok to experiment, but when experimenting flops are bad things are ment to happen, that's why it's called experimenting - to improve the flopped "whatever". I expected a lot when I watched the intro but I didn't get what I expected.. It was a nice try, though.

not as aesthetic as first one Well, I thought about Paradise Circus (because it was in outro in first movie) and what I hear? poon-poon-pann-wak-tak-tak... At least you could use a Zeds Dead remix, guess it's more suitable there. Any way, music is not main reason why I disliked this movie. The concept was to show a beauty of jumps. In general, by nice color-correction and suitable smooth campaths. What we got here? Some random and FAST (fail!) cameras. About 1st person views: forget about them, it's not that aesthetic at all. Somebody like it, somebody don't, put on them - at first your "telling" of this concept was better. I hope next movie would be more similar to first part :) Anyway GJ it's big work, you have skillls

I loved the jumps, though they were old, the style was incredible! Without a doubt they were really tough to perform! About the edit: Well, I didn't like it that much, no idea why. The intro was really awesome, it gave me expectations about something 'faster'. I didn't like it probably cause I am not a fan of the so called chilled edits. It was kinda boring, though the campaths were great, as expected from ndR. :-) The outro is awesome, too. I hope to see something different in "Aestethic 3". maybe?

Disappointing... Wow. It's not often I only watch 50 % of a movie but this was the case in this one. Can't say anything about the jumps cuz I really never noticed what was going on cuz of slowmotion and changing camera angles. A very bad movie in my opinion (what I saw of it at least) sorry.

ndr n1 move maker but this... Second time wathing a second time i'm crying. 9/10 camers take нот correct positions. n1 camera on train 272block backward and in few tj. if want to show beauty of jumping - don't take first person camera. If move be all slow it will be bette when he slow an sometimes too fast. And in the end of all: after first good music in preview it looks too boring. IMO Sorry for my English

The movie is great The campaths are epic and the atmosphere is awsome. I think its to slow for me but i'm not judging a movie that way just cuz i prefer more overedited clips. When you are going to rate a video/movie, you should look at the editing itself, not your own personal needs

about first person he used ... guys he used it correctly ... for sync .. don't judge upon this =/ I don't know why don't you like the slowmotion as well.... Only thing that really destroyed for me the movie was the song ... Yes I understand that it was the outro of Aesthetic 1 and he used it in A2 to "continue" , but it was pure big mistake.
