ROTW #61 - zhady on kz_man_owtcity
Hello there, and welcome to the 61st edition of the Run Of The Week!
How many of you thought that he will be back one day, delighting us again with his oldschool style and astonishing demos ? Well zhady is in the spotlight again, at least briefly for all we know, giving us the pleasure to watch two new remarkable demos from him, both released in the #576th demo release, one of them, kz_man_owtcity done in 03:25.03 being chosen for this ROTW edition. As a short notice, for everyone of you to have a clue about the earlier times in kz, this map, in 2007, was made by another legendary jumper, namely FikoN, in 04:16. You can see how much we developed through all these years.
Well, for those of you who know zhady, any additional words would be pointless. For those of you who don't know zhady, expect to feel the oldschool days, with a developed jumping skill worthy of today's standards. Now I'm asking you, my dear audience, what could be better than an oldschool demo ? Probably more oldschool demos, right ?
Like having one oldschool icon wasn't enough, this ROTW we also have in the spotlight an oldschool mapper as the guest feature and creator of this ROTW video, namely Perdo. This talented mapper is the man behind maps like j2s_sandland, kz_kzsk_forsaken and kz_kzsk_desperados. We can view Perdo now as multitalented as he shows that he is filmmaker material too, making from zhady's demo a smooth and enjoyable video for us to watch.
Hopefully, some of you are interested in what Perdo has to offer in the near future, mapping wise, because I'm about to reveal some projects that he is working on. At the moment, his top priority is a collaboration with yet another oldschol mapper, s0liD on a map named (kz)_cavefalls and then a KZSK community block project. He was kind enough to show us a sneak peak from the community project : http://perdo.kzsk.sk/cmp_map00032.png.
