ROTW #63 - novice on kz_adventure
Hello there, and welcome to the 63rd edition of the Run Of The Week!
After claiming the throne on kz_adventure2, novice makes his move for the prequel kz_adventure. Previously held by players like rEs0LuTe, ndR, brian and koukouz, novice proves once again he has what it takes to amaze us all and to be worthy of an A-list record holder.
Actually these records on kz_adventure were, and as it seems still are very rare. There was a huge gap between 2008 and 2010, when only koukouz managed to beat a 2 years domination by brian. So from 2007, when rEs0LuTe was the first one to beat the map with a wooping 03:41, to this day when novice took the lead with 02:08.05, a record released in the #578th demo release, this map only had five records held only by the mentioned four jumpers.
As for the filmmaker of this edition, I am proud to announce Airwalk Media's latest acquisition, rusty. This ROTW edition he made officialy marks his returning to KZ scene video editing, from the surf one. We won a great filmmaker, one of the best the moviemaking scene has to offer.
As for the video itself, you will be able to see a pretty complex organization, with an intro, moving to the run and then a chilling outro. I would like to advise you all to watch everything, not just the run, because you will see that it all comes together in an unique creation, showing the beauty of the kreedz world, with its two main elements that helped us grow: the beauty of mapping and the beauty of jumping.
You will also be able to see a new version of our XJ logo made by rusty, which will probably turn out to be our new official video logo. It's the result of how he pictured the logo in his creative mind and it was totally his decision to make it.
I would also like to take this moment to make an announcement. As I said, rusty will now focus on kreedz editing and he is about to start a new project. If you want to feature in a KZ montage made by this talented filmmaker and you have new and incredible trickjumps, send him a PM here on XJ, including the download link and the minute when it was made (if it's necessary) and hopefully your trick will be edited by this master.
