ROTW #64 - pizza^ on j2s_4tunnels
Hello there, and welcome to the 64th edition of the Run Of The Week!
08.02.2010. This was the last time when a record on j2s_tunnels had been set. After one year and a half, that demo was beaten by the wonder man from U S of A, pizza^, with slightly over five seconds, a record released in the #579th demo release. As you can imagine, beating a record as old as that isn't really an easy thing to do. And on top of that, it was held by the one and only, zhady the great. The german powerhouse bhopper chrizZo was really into this map as well. He had three world records on it.
Many say that pizza^, with this world record, managed to win a pretty good entry for the Run Of The Year title. Based on the demo history of this map, I think it's safe to say that this record won't be beaten for a long time. But who knows what the future holds for us.

After the previous "experiment" went amazingly well, we decided to invite again a filmmaker from Airwalk Media's classical editing team to create a new ROTW edition, mrN. He comes from a collaboration with MerVing, which resulted into Rejected.
Some color corrections, a song from an odd partnership between One Republic & Receptor and a very clean edit, make an even more pleasant run to watch.
mrN has also been developing a project called kreedzvideosTV where you can send and find free demos available for any moviemaker who is looking for demos to edit. It's a win-win situation for everyone involved. And I've also been announced that a movie contest will take place on this channel. So if you are interested in seeing your demo edited by a moviemaker or if you are in search of demos to edit, this is the place to go.
