ROTW #73 - M@UGLI on kz_synergy_x
Hello there, and welcome to the 73rd edition of the Run Of The Week!
Fails are one of the biggest and important part of kz.
So M@UGLI did it. He actually is the one to take this amazing map from heL^_x.
1 year and a half the domination lasted.
After laying low for the last couple of months, M@UGLI makes a comeback worth of remembering. What makes this WR so amazing, beyond the fact that he managed to finish it without checkpoints in a record time, is the map's history, which is very simple, but yet very interesting. It was designed to be the hardest map ever and so it was, for a long time. It was so hard that we had to stimulate our jumpers to beat it. This is how heL^_x won 115€, being the only one at that time to beat it.
For most of you, seeing M@UGLI conquering this map isn't much of a shocker, since he is recognized within the community as one of the best bhoppers, specialized in hard and extreme maps. It looks like he lived up to the expectations, delivering a truly amazing world record.
And who else to host one of the biggest ROTWs then Airwalk Media's filmmaker, stuff_x ?! He is truly the master of these kind of ROTWs. Keeping you engaged for more than 8 minutes isn't an easy job to do. Well he did it.
It was a huge risk to choose this WR as the ROTW this week because of its length and on top of all because there are some fails as well. Knowing that stuff_x will take care of this, it was an easy decision. And of course we weren't wrong. He delivered a totally enjoyable video. Let's give it up for stuff_x !
