ROTW #77 - kayne on kz_xj_mountez
Hello there, and welcome to the 77th edition of the Run Of The Week!
The art of speed-climbing
kz_xj_mountez is the first official map made with the purpose of showing that speed on regular kz maps is possible as well. On top of that, the legendary jumper and creator of this map FikoN, tagged this style of climbing as more than "regular climbing", saying that being able to jump like this is "art".
And how can it not be when great names like donakos, DHT-, Z0ck3rOO7, T3d, brian or heL^_x, jumpers who defined that bhoping is today, conquered this map?!
And now, after 5 years of foreign domination, the WR of kz_xj_mountez returns home, in the hands of kayne.
Imagine what a great honor it must be to hold this WR. Congratulations kayne!!!
Having the immense pleasure to host this edition is Airwalk Media's filmmaker, KyU.K, who, I must say couldn't have done it better. He did exactly what this spectacular run needed: a clean approach, so you all can clearly see history in the making.
