ROTW #83 - Gene on kz_cellblock_hard
Hello there, and welcome to the 83rd edition of the Run Of The Week!
A Romanian ROTW.
Not too long ago, I announced that most probably an ascension will happen for the romanian player and world recorder Gene. It was a personal opinion based his fast rising skill showed in his runs in that time. Today, he makes history, inserting his name among players like dropsys, aoke, T3dbundy, brian, zhady and pizza, who are the only ones who could conquer this map. And what a map... 4 seconds faster than the old WR on kz_cellblock_hard, one of the most popular maps we have, hard to beat and when it actually happens, a real buzz is starting inside the kz community.
Wonderful work you did here Gene.
So Airwalk Media is now continuing the partnership with Xtreme-Jumps.eu, meaning that everything is back on schedule. We also have a new team of filmmakers taking care of ROTWs, but they will be announced in the next edition. For now, reopening the scene is the romanian filmmaker boy6lue, delighting us all with a very simple edit. In fact, in doesn't get more simple than this. It's like in the oldschool days, beginning times.
