KZmod Launch Tournament
Hey everyone,
we are planning to organise a KZMod tournament this weekend, the 29th and 30th December, in order to celebrate the recent release of KZmod 1.0.
Furthermore we are looking forward to see how the games performs in such a competitive event and we are going to evaluate several future league/tournament options according to how well this goes and how you, the users and players, like this event.
Prizes:
#1 A brand new Logitech Gaming Mouse (G500, G400 or G5 Refresh - winner's choice)
#2 Your own dedicated kzmod server for 1 month
#3 1 month VIP on our gameservers, website + BNC on our IRC channel
Schedule:
Saturday: Â Qualifications + Group stage
1. Sign ups: The registration is going to be open until Saturday 12:30 (XJ timezone).
2. Participants for the group stages and qualification cups are going to be announced Saturday 13:00 (XJ timezone).
3. Qualification Cups to fill up 2 slots are going to be held on Saturday between 14:00 and 15:00 (XJ timezone).
4 Group stage matches are starting Saturday 15:00.
The maps for Saturday are the all time classic kz_cellblock and the remake of the famous oldschoold map kz_exn_ezjungle, kz_cliffhanger!
Sunday: Â Playoffs (quarter finals)
1. The Playoffs matches are starting Sunday 16:00 PM
The maps on Sunday are going to be kz_hillside (kz_nix), kz_utopia and as decider kz_trippin.
/Note: The maps might be changed on admins discretion!

Check in: Important: Participants have to confirm their participation during Saturday 13:00 and 14:00 by messaging me via PM, IRC or Steam. Players who haven't checked in until then are going to be replaced with stand-ins.
Coverage:
The event is going to be streamed by kayne and maybe CamelCloud. They are going to be joined by SoUlFaThEr and Raptor, who are going to be commentating the action with their brilliant and entertaining way, as usual. Furthermore we might have a very special guest stopping by and joining the stream as well, stay tuned!
The tournament staff is going to be announced on Saturday together with the participants!
