Run Of The Week Classics is now in spotlight, with its 8th edition!

The star from Potatismos who used spacebar to jump. One more to go.

Probably you've heard stories of the guy who jumped and bhoped with spacebar. Yeah, this is him.

Let me be clear. FikoN is the booomb. He is my childhood kreedz hero. I've grown up in KZ looking at him, learning from him, admiring him. Everyone of us has that special one who we truly like and who we want to be like.
Short story? He was the youngest kreedzer ever and it wasn't easy at all for him to keep his head up. Add that he was improving damn fast and you got yourself a hell of a competition. I know that everyone says "i'm not afraid of competition", but that's not really true. Not like him, not like FikoN. He was a natural. He was the one to invent "The art of speed-climbing", as you will see in the following run. His micro was insanely low for those times.
Just watch his smoothness. We don't see stuff like this nowadays.

And I thought "hell, Asus did a fantastic job on the previous ROTW Classics. Let's try again". And damn, I couldn't ask for something better. I don't know how he does it, but it's perfect. I guess he felt in love as well with the run. From there it was clear for him how things should be.

It doesn't look like he used to jump with spacebar, however run looks nice. I also enjoyed in edit, nicely done asus you are getting better and better...

As an aside: he broke the wheel of his mouse, he got used to it and kept playing this way never replacing his broken mouse.This is why he jumped with space bar. A little bit different than a0ke who jumped with mousewheel but bhopped with space bar :-)

Ahh what a great run. I remember a lot about fikon, one of the things that comes to mind was back when i was sitting on ventrilo with him, trying to beat his erarock record. I had been working on it for about a week, and then bam, i did it. Probably got around three seconds on him. I was thrilled, felt like i could finally enter the big stage. What fikon did though, was while on ventrilo, not telling me about it, beating it with something along the lines of eight seconds in a matter of an hour. He was a good bloke, sad he had such big fallouts with faker, i guess he was too young to be the head of xj.

Is it legal to have plugin that avoid picking up weapons? When he was running trough awp it wasnt picked, so in this case he won some miliseconds... ?

Nice run indeed. I myself know as a fact that he bhopped with spacebar. He has a sweet technique. This clip is from a long time ago, 7-8 years? Wow, I can't believe that after all this time I'm still remembered. What's even more amazing is how I am described. Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad that I made an impact on the community. I remember that too, Scary. One of the funniest moments I remember. It was worth it to hear your screams of anguish in ventrilo :D hahaha good times. Have you relocated to Sweden or is the Swedish flag next to your name just a bug? Good to see you're around as well AltsicH :) Are you still playing? BTW, what does micro mean in kz terms? Yoo fikon, not really around at all anymore, just passing by and trying to keep myself somewhat updated :) really don't have the energy to geek it out in kz anymore, bet you know what I mean ;) Hope life is treating you well!
