Such a huge improvement is quite rare but while watching all the risky and sometimes even unbelievable combos you'll get it. \\r\\n\\r\\nEarly 2007, the year I was the most productive WR-speaking.\\r\\nWe were in March, I was ranking first in the World top5, less than 2 years after having started kz, things couldnâ€™t be any better for me, kz wise. People were chitchatting as usual and speaking about a certain [flag]us[/flag] [b]Lola[/b].Â \\r\\n\\r\\nFrom my own experience, girls playing video games are either ugly, hide it and benefit from their sex status to be flattered, or are pretty, show it, and benefit from their sex status. The situation was a bit weird to be honest: I was spending all my free-time chatting with her, having phone calls, webcam sessions. As I was already spending way too many hours on the computer every day, it just made things worse and I locked myself into some kind of vicious circle, without even realizing it.\\r\\n\\r\\nI was not seeing my real-life friends as much as I used to, I didnâ€™t even went out of my bedroom, unless I needed to satisfy my bladder or that I was in an advanced starving state haha! My birthday then came closer, and I hopelessly asked my parents to take me a plane ticket to New York so I could visit her. Unexpectedly, they accepted. I think I almost didnâ€™t sleep at all as my excitement was so strong. I spent some time in the bathroom during that night, getting ready for a particular moment I was looking for... I think I spent 1 hour shaving every hair I was noticing haha, I know that's plain stupid but I thought all the women didn't like hairy guys. I still woke up very early in the morning in order to go to the airport.\\r\\n\\r\\nThen came the check-in, the customs, the security check, and finally the boarding. I went into the plane, found my seat and just sat, ready for the departure, feeling a weird mix of excitement and exhaustion. \\r\\n\\r\\n[i]I thought PC addiction doesn't concern me but I was wrong and terribly wrong. It all started when I got my first "good" PC. I was fascinated how many possibilities suddenly opened up for me, internet, games, movies, what not. It was like a magnet. When I was going to sleep, I already prayed for the morning. There was a time when nothing except school and PC and occasional alcohol party existed. Kind of sad, huh ? Some could call me a non-lifer but I didn't feel like I was missing something. It was probably caused by the neighbourhood I was growing up in. Many of my good friends became drug addicted, they met bad people which caused serious troubles to them. And I was scared it also could happen to me, so PC and gaming was a "good" alternative for me. Even though PC started to feel kind of dull after some time, I was sitting in front of it every day and every night. Then I realised something gotta be changed. so I made a few rules for myself and it really worked. It was basically a schedule. 2 hours for gaming, 2 hours for school stuff etc and that's what probably prevented me from a serious PC addiction. There is a really thin line between fun and addiction. And not only for PC, but also for smoking, drugs, alcohol and so on.\\r\\nEven though I enjoy PC and everything around it very much, it doesn't control my life. At Least not more than any other person because let's be honest, hardly anybody can imagine his life without PC and internet, right ? And it's very important because if you let it to control you, it may have unimaginable consequences. You can lose your friends, your dignity, problems in school, at work. You also could become paranoid and unsocial, there is a good chance that you won't be able to talk to people in real life, it harms your health more than many of you think.
