1 New Cheater
Dear users,
even though we decided to avoid news posts about busted cheaters in the future, due to a new policy that we started to follow ever since a few years ago, we decided that you, our users, deserved some insight into this special case, as this case was heating up everyone's mind and started a huge discussion within the community for the past months.
Despite the fact that we found some pretty suspicious things in LyNn's records, we still followed our principles that state users are innocent, until proven guilty. Hence no ban did get applied without physical evidence that the accused user did cheat for real.
In our striving to look further into the case and the help of our users, who supplied a great amount of additional demos and records to us, we were finally able to find and confirm physical evidence that LyNn was cheating in some of his current records on Cosy-Climbing. These demos had the same patterns we already discovered in the demos on Xtreme-Jumps and furthermore, for the first time, physical evidence that lead to the conclusion that LyNn was using a slow motion hack without a doubt.
Considering the suspicions that did already rise when his records on Xtreme-Jumps were checked in depth over and over again, and considering the fact of how nasty and how hard to detect some of the more recent cheats are, we decided to make this the first precedence case where cheating in a partner community leads to a global ban at Xtreme-Jumps as well. Hence LyNn’s account got disabled a few minutes ago and all his demos will be removed from the website within the following hours.
We are very sorry for the inconveniences caused by this incident, especially for the other record holders, but we are still confident that our approach to handle this situation was the only righteous one and that every user is innocent until proven guilty.
