Late night encounters #23 DeathClaw
A great ship needs deep waters.
The first encountered DeathClaw a few weeks ago after adding pizza to friends and got invited to spec the man himself. It struck me instantly the motivation and drive this guy has, just last week I spectated him on zr_hetablock[hard] and it was fascinating to see. Hour after hour he pushed forward, failing a small part of his combo to restart and restart. A few days later the message got through, he cleared it with a time of 01:20.21. And you could feel the happiness in his way of talking that it was a great achivement.
It's funny how it's necessary to have a good player to bring out the best in others, if the time wouldn't have been pushed to this limit before, this never would have happened. And that is why I love people with this kind of determination to play 'til they get it!
In a sence it's like they compete agaisnt themselfs, or the mirrors of themselfs. Even if they reach their goal which is beating the opponent, they keep pushing their mind forward. Beating a mirrored view of their mind, "I could've done this, and that diffrently" and so it goes on. People beating other people beating their mirrored plays. But what sticks out is the people that actually care about the spectators of these recordings, the mirrors that you cant see.
I honestly didn't know DeathClaw as of 3 weeks ago. He didn't know me and I didn't know him, but we can salute eachother anyway. I don't know you and you don't know me but we can salute either way. How are you today? Have you recently been asked the question? It doesen't feel so human to step out of my shell, I mean when noone acts this way? My ego is a secret so powerful than I. So much stronger than me.
