Changes in the XJ management
Hey everyone,
it's not a big secret that I wasn't around as often as it would have been required for a good CEO lately. Maybe I was still able to spend exactly the time that was needed to keep the site alive, however I felt that I was not able to invest any additional time for new projects, cool events or structural changes that I felt were needed for a long time. Some admins showed a great initiative and organized events on their own (thanks for that, you know who you are), but I was merely able to concentrate on internal coordination tasks. I always knew that this was far away from being an ideal situation, however I've finally come to realize that the situation doesn't get better, no matter how hard I tried to make up more time for XJ in my private daily schedules. So I think it is about time to be honest enough to myself regarding this situation and judge things objective, especially after I realized that I am having motivation issue as well and I lost the connection to the KZ community, after I stopped playing myself a long time ago.
Of course this is not an optimal condition and can't go on forever, that's why I think it's really about time to retire for good and pass the torch to some one else.
Hence: With immediate effect I resign from my position as CEO. CyclopP will be XJ's new CEO and PsYxopAt the new COO. Both showed great initiative and did great work on XJ and within the KZ community in general in the past, so I'm more then certain they are going to take over just well and hopefully bring back some activity, life and positive changes to XJ.
I'm sure both of them are going to address a few words to you and inform you about upcoming changes and new projects that within the not too distant future.
Thanks for the great time to everyone I ever met and all the hours of fun we had! However, this is not a complete good bye, I will still be around, even though it won't be in the same situation and with the same intensity as before.
