Ok, new staff, new "blood". Hope to see some better movement around xj, especially in the mapping area. I'm being a bit skeptical about things that are said due to the fact that for the last 3 years or even more, there has been nothing but talking, especially in the map releases subject. Let's hope this time it is for good.

No one knows how to check demos except for leggie, Vee, eDark, faker etc, and for a new demochecker to come one of them has to learn the new guy how to do it - which no one has the time for.

Everybody? Name me who are those everybody, I don't follow longjumping but afaik LyNn is the only one who managed it. Just because you think someone is cheating it doesn't necessarily mean you are right, not always, that's why we need proofs and not opinions, simple as that and has been discussed thousands times.

lol, how hard could be to learn a auto-release system (maybe is not 100% automatical but i bet u dont have to do the entire code by yourself to do a simple demo release)... that is what i call lazyness.. anyway if my opinion.. the most important thing that keep the players active are demos, and with that point of view Camel, demo releases will continue being delayed just because only kayne knows how to do it and he will have to be always alone on this...

Camel that argument is just invalid, many people know how to check demos other than XJ demo admins. Tools provided is different thing, but they are not something only eDark can do.

Sorry, let me re-phrase myself in case you did not get my overly obvious message which everyone else seems to have gotten. No one other than the ones I've mentioned previously, plus some others, can check a demo the proper way it's supposed to be done at XJ. Cosy, for example, does not check a demo how XJ checks a demo. You're right, everyone can check a demo, but not as througougly.

You are right about Cosy, but that doesn't mean that XJ demoadmins are the only with knowledge and tools to do a proper checking on demos. I'll stop this now, since this is leading nowhere. You can think what you want, and I can have my opinion.
