Welcome to the first edition of the Weekly Cup series.
Weekly Cup is what you would call a fast tournament event that is going to be played each Saturday at [del]16:00[/del] 17:00 UTC. A total of 16 jumpers will be coming together to fill in the 16 slots of single-elimination bracket in order to play for $75 of a total prize sum divided into 3 winning spots. Huge thanks to our lovely donators who gladly offered their help with sponsoring these series with $50 from Coppenst and $20 from D2B, on a weekly basis. Stream is an essential part of these series and this week you'll be provided with commentating in faces of ndR and ZippoW for your watching pleasure.
This week's sign-ups are open for everyone desired to participate, however it's a hard decision to take on how exactly players are best to pick, hence, this week we decided to count in first 16 players to apply in comments section. In time we will have a settled template of the whole concept, so this one is more of a test. With your suggestions we can pull it off faster and quality, so dont' hesitate to come up with suggestions.
Weekly Cup #1 sign-ups are open now, just go and leave a comment that you want to participate and do it faster. The tournament tree will be updated soon after 16 sign-ups are determined, along with schedule for all groups. It's important that once you are chosen to check out the schedule to be in time for tomorrows Cup, if you are a player.

First match starts at 17:00 UTC, then average time for Bo3 = 15 minutes, for Bo5 = 25 minutes.[/slide] [slide="Registration"]Signups: first 16 to apply in comments Pickups: if participant gave up his slot days before the Cup launch, then 17th signup is invited (respond must be given in a short time, otherwise 18th will be invited instead). If slot is given away on the match day then pickups are made in the Weekly Cup Update section. If participant is not shown as it's his match time, then pickups are made on our Xtreme-Jumps Irc Channel, first to respond on admins request counts in, use main chat (not pm).[/slide] [slide="Rules"]Match time - 5 minutes, rematch - 2 minutes.
Final position counts according to the /poscheck plugin which has a defect, therefore it's highly recommendable to stand still as it's 2-3 seconds remain (to be fixed).
Camping more than 5 seconds will lead you to defeat. Camping can be determined on admins agreement in non-standard situations.
We do not bear responsibility for experienced lags, whether they are caused due to your connection problems or system spikes. However, if it heavily affects your game, you can request a rematch. It's possible only with opponent's agreement.
