Welcome to the eleventh edition of the Weekly Cup series.
Weekly Cup is what you would call a two-day tournament event that is going to be played each Saturday and Sunday at 17:00 UTC. A total of 16 jumpers will be coming together to fill the 16 slots of single-elimination bracket, in order to play for $45 of a total prize sum divided into 3 winning spots. First match starts at 17:00 UTC, then average time for Bo3 = 15 minutes, for Bo5 = 25 minutes. Day 1 - 1/8; the rest is on Day 2.[/slide] [slide="Registration"]Signups: this week priority is given to those who have not played yet, then, when it gets closer to the date, other players get signed up in turn. Pickups: if a participant gave away his slot before the Cup launch, then 17th sign up is invited (respond must be given in a short time, otherwise 18th will be invited instead and so on). If participant is not shown as it's his match time, then pickups are made on the stream channel; first to respond on admins request counts in..[/slide] [slide="Rules"]Match time - 5 minutes, rematch - 2 minutes.
Final position counts according to the /poscheck plugin [del]which has a defect, therefore it's highly recommendable to stand still as it's 2-3 seconds remain (to be fixed).[/del]; Fixed.
Camping more than 5 seconds will lead you to defeat. Camping is determined on admins agreement in non-standard situations. Don't fool around or jump to the block and back repeatedly.
If the participant has not shown up as it's time to play after 5 minutes, then defeat can be applied.
A participant is obliged to leave the server after his match has finished; unless admin allowed him to stay.
Money transfer is performed using paypal, make sure you have an account.
We do not bear responsibility for experienced lags, whether they are caused due to your connection problems or system spikes. However, if it heavily affects your game, you can request a rematch. It's possible only with opponent's agreement.
[del]It's strictly prohibited to quit from the Cup particularly when you have advanced from the first round. Violating this rule will get you banned from the next 2 Weekly Cups. Repeated violation will get you banned from any kind of Cups or Tournaments up to half a year.[/del]
Players who don't show up for their matches in day 1 will get a warning - after 2 warnings they will be banned from playing cups for the next 3 months. If players don't show up for day 2 they get a direct ban from the next 2 cups + autowin for their opponent.
You are obliged to use your real nick on the server so that you are recognized.
Disobeying admin's instructions will get you disqualified or banned from one or multiple Weekly Cups.
Being warned by admin 3 times will get you disqualified from the tournament and banned from one or multiple Weekly Cups.
