ROTW Classics #16 - Goateh on kz_climbersxp_b03[hard]
Run Of The Week Classics is now in the spotlight, with its 16th edition!
It doesn't get more oldschool than this!
This edition we went back... way back, back into time. 2004 is the year and we meet one of the few jumpers from Great Britain, representing the very first batch of KZ climbers that ever existed. When I say Goateh, every oldschooler listens! He is simply a higher mark in the KZ scene.
And to emphasize as much as we the importance of this player, we have also chosen a truly oldschool map. kz_climbersxp_b03[hard] is one of the very first maps created. And it's a very big one. It shows exactly on what kind of maps these players made history.
I have found a quote from our almighty OddYsseus, giving us a better overview upon Goateh: "Goateh was pretty big at that time he was holding almost every record. Some day all of this demos disappeared due to his request. If I remember correctly he was tired of getting spammed on irc by beginners asking for help. After Goateh was gone SuPa, Helferlein and others took over."
He was also a mapper, as a side passion, creating the official map kz_real_islands and he even featured in his own movie called "Jump or Die".
And what better choice to handle a 15 minutes run if not for Nokkan. He is simply the master of super clean edits, making him the perfect choice for a job like this.
