Moving on, winners maps deliver creativity and a themes not common to the KZ world. The climbing creates an overall fun atmosphere and the themes give your eyes something to be happy about.

Out of the 14 maps submitted for this contest, these maps won by a hair because all accepted maps surely exceeded our expectations.

It was tough to decide which one will be 1st but yea Spider1 and tenkae are two best maps in contest.also sadpuppy map was really good and gj for his effort on it.Also jaguarBR map was really good looking. GJ All participans, and GJ for winners

lol :D Why would we start argue over something like "opinions" ?:P Every1 has a different opinion about something than other person :) As you can see my opinion is that SadPuppy should have win..this is in my eyes as in your eyes the top3 is different..and so on with every person in this world...we are unique and think in a unique way:) Is ok to have opinions man:D,dont think negative..like:"if i say what i think some1 else get angry and start commenting with bad words over me" Im glad that people that voted for my map to be on top3 had such a good "sight" over my map and placed it on 2 :P

I think the explaination for this is pretty simple, while sadpuppy's map was amazing itself, it wasn't suitable for public play. Since the maps objective is to collect all the coins to open the final door then if it was able to be played in a pub server you could just open the door and the map would be complete once everyone collected the coins, hit the start button and then finish the map in 10 seconds or so. Tenkae's map was very innovative with the jumps to which I felt were new and exciting making it deserving of its win. Spider1's map while not entirely original was still an amazing map throughout. It looked fantastic from top to bottom. At the end of the day I feel as if these three were all deserving of their placings within the contest. Moreover I feel that your map was also deserving as it was a fun map to watch. (I did not have anything to do with the actual judging of these maps or the outcome in where they placed in the standings)

I'm not sure I agree with top 3. Sure it has awesome entity work, but it offers nothing new jumping-wise. Imo a map like kz_hypercube would have been a better choice for top 3. It may not have the best texturing, but the concept is great and the jumps are far better than those in kz_unicorn. I'm not trying to take anything away from sadpuppy though. He's an intelligent mapper and deserves the recognition he's gotten, but I'm sure he can do much better.
