IT HAS BEGUN! It's finally here! The 2nd edition of the popular XJ Pro-Challenge #1 from approximately 8 years ago!
With names like Supa, brian, Flibo, zhady, faker, omilo, chrizZo, heL^_x, thopa and many others, the event was a tremendous success, having the best of the best compete in some fierce battles!
Let's do that once again, but this time with players from nowadays, in a competition which will probably define the best player that 1.6 KZ had to give.
What is Prochallenge #2: An offline (with the FINAL being LIVE-STREAMED) event where EVERYONE can be participate, showing their skills in an ultimate battle for the top, throughout a 7 months journey.
How it works: At the beginning of each month, one map will be presented and released for public downloading and from that moment each and everyone of you will have exactly 1 month at their disposal to record their best time and send in the demo before the end of that month. (you will use Submit Demos function like any other demo submission)
The points distribution will be based on each time, the fastest receiving 10 points, gradually decreasing to 9 points, 8 points, 7 points, 6 points, 5 points, 4 points, 3 points and 2 points, depending on the times of the best 9 runs. The rest of the runs that won't qualify for the Top9 will receive 1 Propoint for participation.
At the end of 3rd round, the first 3 players with the most points (as summed from every round) will enter the FINAL MAP.
Schedule: 1st Round February: 01.02.2016 - 29.02.2016 prochallenge2_speed - by Kic(winner of $50 prize sponsored by Coppenst)
Special thanks to KZ-PICTURES for providing us these awesome trailers for each map!
FINAL August: 14.08.2016 prochallenge2_mix - by Roadrunner(winner of $50 prize sponsored by spr1n)
As you can see, we have prepared a little surprise for you all by adding 4 additional maps to the schedule, one for each round and one final map which will include all jumping disciplines.
Notes: The exact date for the FINALS may change depending on when all finalists will be available, since most of us have plans for summer break, mostly during August.
A special page for this event will be created later on for a better overview of the entire tournament.
And this event wouldn't be complete without a Moviemaking Contest which will take place after the finals.
