How was your weekend? Hope it was great. We're pleased to surprise you with a new edition of Run Of The Week.

WR Release #689 delivered a good amount of runs on oldschool maps, some of which were even recorded by what we can all call "oldschool players". Now, you can imagine how hard it was for us to decide on a single run to be highlighted.
We've chosen Toffifee's astonishing improvement on one of the most popular maps out there: kz_j2s_cupblock. He managed to beat LEWLY's run by almost 2 seconds by performing lots of bhop combos, high speed, precise movement and impeccable strafes. What do you want more than a climb map being transformed into a bhop one? --- a clip showing you just that! Cobrex took care of this job, transposing Toffifee's skills into art.

For KZmod it's only the 20th edition of the series, but oh boy, wasn't it a pleasure to watch all the great world records so far? Don't worry, there are more to come!

We are happy to present you one of the latest world records from the one and only sooshka. Seeing him competing on bhop maps with kQbmig (aka NAPZ) reminds us of the battle between shNz and kQbmig on kz_cg_venice. sooshka managed to improve the time on kz_bhop_angkor by controling his movement and maintaining the proper speed to get such a great time of 3 minutes and 16 seconds. Will this settle it?

The man that made this simple, yet beautiful clip is the oldschool moviemaker: jusuuh. Accompanied by a magnificent song, this Run Of The Week's clean edit will surely make you wonder where's the limit of KZmod's beauty.

it's not just the absolute best run at this point, we're considering the marketing aspects of the game as well. as we're just 20 releases in we've highlighted different gamemodes, jumpers and tried to choose maps that present the possibilities & differences compared to 1.6. with superb looks for example. but it's a fast run and can't expect a perfect one yet! god I love the looks of that map, tho my renders made it a little bit too light. keep on jumping!

I really can't think of any words that can relate on how much players put effort on their time to succeed in those runs, it amazes me about the others still hanging to encourage it. BIG FAT Good-job to all of you contributing to all of this. *thumbs up*

Even that i dont like Cobrex perosnallity it doesnt mean he didt DESTROY that movie...my opinion is that movie is absolute amazing...10/10 for song, 10/10 for atmosphere and big Plus for 'syncing' run with music (slowmo)..i think its somehow nice innovation in our cs 1.6 kz movies...maybe you just could put that slowmo also on his Backward jump near the end..:D GJ also for Toffifee, interesting style :)
