Nice job, afu! It was pleasant to read this series. I'd like you to analyze map named kz_cfl_yamakasi. I wish you luck with your future work.

GJ afu didnt notice the story behind that map all the years next map i want to see is : prochallenge_bhop

18/07/2016 10:33:00

Fresh and interesting

18/07/2016 13:39:00

Awesome job. A little mistake 1th map: kz_kzfr_duke

18/07/2016 14:38:00

Nice job! kzno_xtremeblock would be nice

Well this was absolutely poor. A complete lack of any concrete or comparative analysis, only some shallow, quick notes about the map, seems like the author wanted to share his find about this map, creating a whole new series of posts. The last sentence just says it all. If you are taking a responsibility to bring us an interesting read, having the word "analysis" in the title, please do much, much more. Compare the previous holder's runs, styles, the techniques on the decisive jumps. Lots of things to note from emotional tension to a minor gimmicky skips and turns, show-off moves, etc, etc. As you can see, in order to make it a decent, enjoyable article, it takes a lot more than that.

You sir lack diplomacy. On the one hand, you have a fine point here, as everything you pointed out is correct. But like the very first phrase says, it's a new series, meaning it probably needs some adjustments to be enjoyable and pleasant to read. I highly doubt you would produce a truly epic and amazing article right away if you were an admin here, so please don't be a hypocrite.

19/07/2016 02:46:00

Legitimate doubt, was expecting it. Though I don't need to reply anything to you, woof, you know that you said nothing at all. You know every corner your absurd answer hid. The fact that I'm more than capable of writing a proper article, the fact that it is actually a poor excuse that you've mentioned, that "right away" bullshite: you are mature and you obviously thought of the possibility of this, on the opposite, being written not in a couple of hours, it only worsens the situation for the article if it actually was written in such short terms, which leads us to the excuse you mentioned. You know that hypocrisy in my reply was a consequence of analytical rigor which could probably be a cause for your twaddle to appear under my comment, would it be better if I added some brackets ))) and a couple of sorry-s, or completely shortened my answer keeping only "good job" part - like it would seem I'm just bad at english or generally stupid to right a decent reply? How long did it take you to find the word diplomacy in your mind in order to fill this, emptyness of your remark. Or was it the first idea that you caught and it became another reason of me wasting my time writing this, obvious for both you and me, lines? I support afu on this, I can only hope he is a person to do this ungrateful labour, good luck to him.

In my opinion its good to read but it would be really nice if the article were longer. I am waiting for next ones!

18/07/2016 15:43:00

This idea is amazing! Something new, nice...but it will be better if theres longer analyse (like two said above)...but anyway awesome idea, gj afu for effort!

18/07/2016 15:45:00

about nominating a map i would say: kz_space :)

18/07/2016 16:54:00

kzie_bunnyheaven pls pls pls pls pls plsssssssssss

18/07/2016 17:38:00

I absolutely like the idea and appreciate the effort but maybe indeed it should be a little more in-depth. Of all the crappy ideas brought in the last years (monthly challenges, rotw classics etc..), this one is something I can finally rejoice seeing. my choice is kzm_cityblocks

18/07/2016 21:38:00

This is such fun to read. Keep it man! Personally I think oldschool climb maps will fit this job, such as mineblock(ez) climbersxp, tomb, etc.

18/07/2016 21:57:00

ahh zhe oldskewlmaps from france...1 unit jumps/headblocker/spikes/wallstucks/ and a ragequit after 20 mins...i like diz shit.

18/07/2016 22:28:00

i enjoyed reading it but it just ended too quick. i felt like it was just about to start but next time i suppose :) i'd like to see fof_32

18/07/2016 22:36:00

very nice series! thank u, GJ!

18/07/2016 22:37:00

kzie_bunnyheaven ftw =)

18/07/2016 23:04:00

good idea and initiative afu! keep them coming. Also, as some pointed out, add more "Statistics" and analysis. Good job nonetheless.

19/07/2016 01:27:00

Thanks for feedback guys! I'll try to make a longer analysis next time

19/07/2016 01:44:00

Really awesome afu, good job My map: kz_cfl_yamakasi

19/07/2016 02:56:00

19/07/2016 03:12:00

good job :) i want to see kz_rambo_xen :D

19/07/2016 20:36:00

any map that supa had wolrd record on it would be nice :) esp dimblock ( hp bug 0 )

19/07/2016 21:03:00

qqqq

19/07/2016 21:45:00

great job! kzno_xtremeblock please!

19/07/2016 21:50:00

um no matches so far, gon be a hard choice choice :D

19/07/2016 22:00:00

good idea! it still lacks the history of shortcuts/skips/combos/route. Even tho you'll need to have a moviemaker that does short clips of every shortcut done by every jumper (if they differ, ofc), so we can see who and how somebody destroyed a certain map (spr1n on wigbl0ck, fof_32 etc). I nominate kz_cg_venice which had the most epic battle of two bhop greats: shnz & napz

20/07/2016 00:00:00

Good job afu, I know you will do better analysis on the next series, but this is an enjoyable one. A good choice for the next map would be kz_wsp_arpino imo.

20/07/2016 19:15:00

I'd say it was okay? Obviously more could've been done to make it interesting. Throttle pointed out whatever was missing in this article so I don't need to add more. The emotions involved while recording, the experience of it as a whole, the frustration, etc obviously play a big role in making it more relatable to every member here. Nevertheless, you took an effort and started this, which is obviously better than nothing. So an excellent job for the idea. For the next article, I'd like to see some more interesting maps whose records are held by relatively big names of this community. LEWLY, shNz, koukouz, zhady, etc. Oldschoolers as well as the new schoolers alternating in the releases would make it interesting. For the map, I'd like to see kz_facility which is held by LEWLY, and has also

seen some pretty big names in the past.

21/07/2016 04:15:00

lmao i sounded like an idiot in 2006 from Jurpo's demo release "W000000T micron NICE 3ways xtreme demo :D"

21/07/2016 13:58:00

This is a great thing you have picked up, so to make it a success, you have to work even harder. My suggestions would be: - maps like gigblock b01, facility, wigblock, cityblock, forestrace, lighthops, wildwesthop, torres, utopia, 4tunnels, fineblock, factory, dahnajourney, raincliff, bagdad, burrow, bhopblock, 2001, cambodia, adventure, alpin, bridge, canuon, cellblock, dimblock, mountainchurch, cg extreme, venice, xtremedesert, collage v2, creek, cruiser, jekyll, deathvalley, beneath, exodus, halicarnassus, icevalley, jumprun, kosovo, haunted, rabbithoghway, dementia, femtobhop, mineblock, the fucking luonto, nolve, phoogi, synergy x, toscana, arpino, valleyclimb, 3 ways extreme, monthard, greencave, prospeed 1, probhop 1, firehouse, weaponsfactory, bean valley, boxedout, suncliff, , ... and a lot of other stuff that i can't recapitulate now. (all of these maps i mentioned here have long history of battles, or sc related, or the present demo is just epic, or the maps are just too much swag) - The point is, either it has to be sc-destroyed map, or a battle map, or a hardass map. People anywhere loves drama. You gotta give it to them in a specific-non-individual attacking way), you get a hit. - Dont just talk about sc's, cut the sc's from the demos make a short clip, or just do the sc's yourself, attach them to a link in your post, the people should remember or just feel the thing when they're reading the post. This makes it a great read to know about which player did what sc, and in what way. - Talk about the individual recorder's style, their maneuver, how they excel from the predecessor's demo. Or if you feel the previous demo was better than the recent demo, you can even talk about it. - You're here to talk about the demo, so obviously it can't be complete without the cheat demos associated with it. That proves the desirableness of the map among the community. Talk about the various cheaters that tried to grab it, if possible give a demo. Great television entertainment, again. The point is, to make it you unique style of writing. It shouldn't be just another boring newspost comment like: "oh wow gj dude gg wp." Only pay heed to constructive criticisms, not the negative ones. I wish you luck in this new project.
