Another Cheater

Hi guys,

today, after a special investigation, we busted another cheater

phantom who submitted 6 Demos with a private 3rd party bhop hack:

kz_hopez_phantom_0314
kz_megabhop_hard_phantom_0155
kz_megabhop_phantom_0154

He will be banned permanently from page, IRC and submitting demos.

eDark's statement: (after a very detailed analysis of all of phantoms demos)

He obviously used a third party bhop hack in all of his demos

The old record demos will be restored within the next hours.

both in a way. but demos looked clean for 90%. after the 10% suspicion i asked eDark for a special check oO and the special check by eDark pwns em all :E. soon fps death will get better anyway, so we dont need a special investigation. then all demos will be checked again, anyway ;) hf gl cheaters ^^

The fact that he had already gotten a number of demos posted makes me pretty skeptical of the validity of whatever process is in place for checking demos. Sucks too, Phantom was quickly becoming one of my favorites to watch.

after checking his demos i got a suspicion about he's cheating but i kept quiet cause i dont wanted to flame without a reason. but we had no evidence. so i asked eDark for a special investigation, and he found an evidence that he's cheating so... believe me, all good bhop demos got checked with the special check :)

hmm he's still a good jumper, he did the long jumps in lost_castle and there is no cheat for longjumps I guess he is a member of xtremejumps who tought that he find a way to cheat without being detected, so he used a fake name in case someone finds out he really cheated

Damn, he had a very nice style, and he didn't give a fuck in his demos, sometimes he just standed still for some seconds and then passed on. Im sad to hear that phantom cheated.

ahahhaah i KNEW it. it is not possible for a "newcomer" to beat the records on bhop maps that fast ! but wtf is going up in your head mr. phantom :D? all cheaters will be detected. FOR SURE! I TRUST IN THE ADMIN CREW :) good job especially to eDark

I don't see why everyone finds stuff like this funny... If it's truely a community thing you should *miss* people like him. If he wasn't found out to be cheating, you'd still value him and tell hm good job any time he did anything of significance. I find it more troubling that so many people are immiediately laughing, and talking about how they all knew. If you all knew so well, why did only *one* person bring it to light?

the reason noone said they think hes cheating is because his demos were checked by admins and got accepted n stuff.. it would be the same as watching some cpl demos and say that the players cheat

@ufui: I think every 3rd person has NO cheats. Most counterstrikegamers, who play this game >2h a day are able to get cheats and if they are to bad they will cheat. Even some jumpers said to me, that they are using wallhacks n stuff while jumping. Only because the cheats are to easy to get ! This post doesnt fit to this case, but pls dont delete it :S :D
