ROTR #4 - colcol on ksz_fastmountain2

 

Hello Kreedz,

 

and welcome to the latest edition of ROTR, this time featuring colcolx. It’s safe to say that this name is familiar to anyone who has even glanced at the kz world. Currently, colcolx holds the top spot on Cosy-Climbing with an impressive 563 records and dominates the pro rankings of the kz-rush servers with 882 records. With earning the title of ROTR release #816,  colcolx exemplifies how quantity can indeed blend seamlessly with quality.

 

The story of the map created by Keo began in December 2013. Back then, a certain buh set the inaugural record with a time of 01:55.13. It wasn’t until nearly nine years later that topoviygus improved upon it with a 0.22 improvement. However, it's worth noting that topoviygus's run included a few significant quality flaws, resulting in a couple of seconds penalty. colcolx, it seems, accomplished what topoviygus could not, executing an almost flawless run except for a very minor miss on dd. Clearly, three records were enough to exhaust the potential of this map, and now the competition shall hinge on milliseconds. Any improvement from here will set a new benchmark, once again.

 

And I hope no one here has a fear of dragonflies. During a shoot with CyniuThunder, we managed to capture a rare species of dragonflies. Beware of dragonflies. Dragonflies are aliens.
