ROTR #5 - misti on kz_bkz_deathjourney

Hello everyone!

Following the latest WR release (#817), we would like to present you the newest Run Of The Release video, featuring  misti and his world record run on kz_bkz_deathjourney!

 

  misti is not unfamiliar with the map, as he held the world record back in May 2011. Throughout the years it has been beaten couple of times by some legendary players like shooting-star or surRendi, with kzz1lla being the previous world record holder for over 9 years ( kzz1lla's 2015 record was over 9 seconds faster than 2011 misti’s time)!

Now in 2024, we can witness misti’s comeback to the leaderboards with two new records, kz_bkz_deathjourney being close to almost 2 seconds of time improvement! To add a little bit of spice to it, this was the last kzz1lla world record, therefore as of right now, he is no longer present in the WR leaderboards. This impressive comeback to global rankings by misti has been met with a lot of enthusiasm, with many people wishing to see more demos from him.

To cherish that run, we would like to present you a new ROTR video made by Shad0ws.
This time we are jumping into a completely different world - the world of Unreal Engine!
Shad0ws decided to render the entire run by using a different engine which resulted in this mysterious, very sharp and detailed looking environment. Delightful camera work and smooth transitions garnished with a mixture of deep and progressive house is what we are served with today.
