4 New LongJump World Records + Twitter/X and Short News Update
Greetings Kreedzers,
It has been a long time since the last time we have had a proper "LongJump World Record" newspost update. At some point in our history, we simply decided to abandon the highlighting of this achievement, and add said world records as mere entries of the shopping list that we call nowadays call "LJ release". This kind of treatment for something so difficult isn't fair, so for that reason, we decided it'd be best if we go back to our roots and do our due diligence towards every single new world record we might have from now on.
Despite the difficulty and rarity of attaining such accomplishment, this time we were blessed to have not one, but four new longjump world records!
How does one achieve a NEW longjump world record in Counter-Strike 1.6 Kreedz?
Before we get into the nitty-gritty, let's have a quick reminder for everyone new about how longjump world records in 1.6 kreedz are tracked:
In order to break the previous world record, the player must cover a better block distance, instead of simply tying said block with better stats. So for example, the world record for the first ever 257 block is still held by FreestyleR even though numerous players after him also jumped the same block, but with better stats/distance. The next LJ world record was held by Lobelia, since he was the first player to jump 258 block in 2022.
4 New LongJump World Records
Now let's move on to the main course for the evening. Enjoy the 4 new longjump world records with this edit by CyniuThunder, which in our opinion may be one of his best works so far. He managed to achieve a balance between a clean edit with well-synced effects. It doesn't feel hollow, so you know you are watching a proper edit, but at the same time, it isn't "overedited", because you see the jumps themselves. On top of that, music always plays an important role in this kind of movie, and I always say the following: Music is highly subjective, however, if one manages to use the music of choice for his movie to its fullest potential, syncing it up with what we see on the screen, and also with a fitting atmosphere, then no matter your taste, you are likely to enjoy the final product! And that is exactly what in our opinion Cyniu achieved here! Enjoy!

Longjump Distance Rule Update:
It is important to note that from now on, we will be updating our rules regarding how we are going to track longjump distances. Up until now, the official longjump stats relied on distance X/Y, which meant how long the jump was from point A to point B, without taking into consideration the trajectory/deviation of the jump. In other words, we will use the 'pure' distance of a jump, even if its trajectory may not have been as straightforward as possible. In general, the majority of the longjump distances have increased, and this also means that a few players have switched places in the tops. Check the LJ tops to see for yourself. Twitter/X and Short News Update:
We are happy to announce that we will be more active on social media! Starting with our brand new twitter/X account, the idea behind it is that we will be providing more regular content there. While the content itself may not be major news worthy, we will be sharing everything that happens in the KZ world on a daily basis. This could include: the occasional meme, fun facts, videos and youtube shorts, website updates, KZ news beyond 1.6, regular news, and even more!
