Dear community,
We'd like to announce a small christmas cup we will be hosting next week. But before that, a quick reminder about some important news in regards to future tournaments from a recent community newspost. Unfortunately, our main tournament sponsor isn't able to deliver on a similar prizepool anymore in comparison to our Summer Tournament 2024. Nevertheless, we have some plans about a bigger tournament again soon, so stay tuned!
When it comes to this small christmas cup, we thought it would be best if we mix it with christmas themed maps for the group stage, and as we promised last tournament, more classic/popular maps for the playoffs.
Schedule:
22 of December (SUN): 17:00 (5 PM) CET to ~21:00 (9 PM CET) - Group Stage + Playoffs

Tournament Format:
Group Stage:
• Melee Style Format. Everyone vs Everyone.
• No restarts are allowed.
• Six maps total
• The top four best average times will advance to the playoffs, everyone else is eliminated.
• Average cup time for the longer maps will be determined by the map's length.
• In case a player doesn't finish a map, a penalty will be applied to his time in order to properly compare his time with other players who failed to finish the map.
• Unlimited amount of participants
Playoffs:
• Classic 1v1 single elimination format.
• Both semifinals and the final will be a Bo5.
• Seeding will be determined by the proper placement of the Top 4 players from the group stage.

The cup times for each map will be also updated soon. Moreover, certain maps may be changed in case we discover issues with them. You will be notified in due time should that occur.
Tournament Rules:
All current Kreedz.com general and tournament/cup rules also apply to this tournament. Certain rules, of course, are subject to change in case of some unforseen and unique circumstances. In that case, always refer to the availablec server cup admin
