As always, there’s been a lot happening behind the scenes. While I regularly share progress in our Discord (#website channel), I realized not everyone keeps up there, so here’s a proper recap of what’s new on Kreedz.com.

 

KzGuessr - Season 3 Begins

 

I’m excited to announce the start of Season 3 of KzGuessr. This little side project turned into a fun game, and thanks to your feedback, it keeps getting better!

 

This season brings a few important changes:

 

• You now have 60 seconds to find the most accurate answers.
• Each question comes with four options to choose from.
• You can earn a bonus if you correctly name the record holder.
• Scores may take up to two minutes to appear on the leaderboard (only if you’re logged in).

 

Website Improvements and New Pages

 

Here’s what’s new around the site:

 

• New Downloads Page: kreedz.com/downloads
• New Ban List Page: kreedz.com/banlist
• Images now use the .webp format, up to ten times smaller for similar quality, greatly improving loading speed.
• Ongoing SEO improvements: even with a natural dip in activity, Kreedz.com continues to grow in Google visibility, with more indexed pages and easier access to maps, records, and resources (this is due to continuous work on SEO-related topics).
• Demo likes should now work more reliably.
• New “Full / Compact” view setting for reading news (your choice is saved in cookies).

 

 

• New stats added to the record page.

 

 

• Improved layout for short news posts.

 

 

• Fixed record ordering on profile pages (was previously sorting incorrectly by date).
• Leaderboard now properly displays ties: kreedz.com/leaderboard
• Linked news icon added on record pages (when a record has an associated news post).
