Submitted Demos Now Displayed
Hello Climbers!
We’ve made another small but meaningful improvement to how demos are displayed on Kreedz.com.
From now on, when you submit a demo, it will immediately appear on the Submit page with the map name and the recorded time - but with the player name kept hidden for a little twist!
Why this change?
In recent months, we’ve accumulated quite a few demos waiting to be checked and released. Our demo checkers put a lot of effort into reviewing every submission - it’s a time-consuming process, but an important one. They do deep investigations on all demos to ensure fairness and consistency. While it might not always seem clear why it takes so long, this level of detail is crucial for maintaining the quality and integrity of the records on Kreedz.com.
To improve visibility and make updates more frequent, we’re expanding on our live demo release system by showing submitted demos right away. This allows players to see new runs as they come in - even before they’re officially released - while still keeping player names hidden until the checking process is complete.
A few important notes
- Player names remain hidden until the demo is officially released.
- YouTube videos will still be uploaded only when demos are checked and released.
- Submission order is what matters - your demo will always be released in the order it was submitted, even if someone else submits a faster time later. Displaying the time has no impact on the review or release order.
- Only the fastest submitted demo per player per map is shown. If a player submits multiple demos on the same map, only their best one will appear. Because of this, the number of visible submissions may not match the total number of demos currently in the queue.
Community feedback & special releases
As always, we’re listening to community feedback. If the community feels this system should change or evolve, we’re open to adjusting it - so don’t hesitate to share your thoughts!
