Introducing Automated Bhop Statistics on Record Pages
Hello Kreedz world!
We’ve just rolled out a brand-new feature on kreedz.com - each record page now displays detailed bhop statistics for the current world record run.
This addition gives you a deeper look into the precision and consistency of players’ movement, providing insights that go beyond simple time and speed.
What You Can See
Every record page now includes:
- Total number of bhops performed during the run
- Percentage of Ideal / Good / Bad bhops
- Bhop rate (average frequency of bhops throughout the run)
- Best distance achieved during the run
- Longest streak of consecutive bhops
Additionally, you can view a list of all bhop distances above 200 units, allowing for closer analysis of standout jumps. Each bhop listed in the stats section also comes with a YouTube button, allowing you to instantly watch that specific jump at the exact moment it happens in the run. This makes it easy to review performance, analyze timing, or simply enjoy seeing those perfect bhops in action without scrubbing through the entire demo.
Bhop Type Definitions
To better understand the data, here’s how bhops are classified:
- Ideal: Best prestrafe speed possible, jumped on the perfect frame on ground
- Good: Missed the ideal frame, but maintained strong speed
- Bad: Jumped too late, resulting in poor prestrafe speed

These stats are fully automated. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that these numbers are 100% correct - minor mistakes or variations may occur.
For now, only recent runs uploaded in .zip format include these new bhop statistics. Older records that were submitted in .rar format cannot be processed by our current automated analysis system, which means their bhop data isn’t available yet. We’re exploring options to make historical runs compatible in the future, but for the time being, only .zip uploads benefit from the new stat generation, which is also why we took this decision when we built kreedz.com.
What’s Next
This is just the beginning. The new bhop stats system lays the groundwork for deeper demo analysis and more comprehensive insights into player performance. In the near future, we’ll be expanding the stats page and introducing tools and dashboards to help compare player statistics and visualize performance trends.
