We are excited to announce that for the first time in kreedz.com's history we will host a slide tournament! To celebrate this milestone, we have decided to include some of the recently released slide maps, but also update our tournament format to accomodate it for the more classic and shorter style ones.

UPDATE*: Format has been updated, since the current participants list is 10 people.
It remains mostly the same with the following changes:
- Instead of two groups of 10, we will have only one group, with the top 4 players with most points advancing to the playoffs.
- The playoffs format remains the same, except that it will be 4 player double elimination bracket instead of 8.
Schedule:
27 of December (SAT): 15:00 (3 PM) CET to ~19:00 (7 PM CET) - Group Stage + Playoffs

*Schedule times are taking into consideration the time zones for all of the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific regions.

1st place: 50%
2nd place: 30%
3rd place: 15%
4th place: 5%
*Depending on whether the prize pool increases, we may change the prize money distribution to allow places 4th till 8th to receive a portion of it as well.

Tournament Format:
Melee Qualifiers:
• Melee Style Format. Everyone vs Everyone.
• Restarts are allowed. Progress is saved.
• Eight maps total
• The top 4 players from each group with the most points advance to the next stage.
• Average cup time for the longer maps will be determined by the map's length.
• 20 players limit. Players will be divided into two groups of 10 (the limit may be extended depending on interest). Top 4 players from each group advance to the next stage.
• Players receive points based on their placement on the map. First place gets 10 points, last place gets 1. This way, the length of the map will not matter, only your placement.
8 Players Playoffs:
• Classic 1v1 double elimination elimination Bo3 format.
• NEW! Due to the short length of slide maps, we have updated our plugin to have Best of X on the same map. I.e., if a map is 30 seconds long, and the format is Bo5 for that specific map length, then the first to 3 wins on the map wins that map.
General guidelines per length:
2+ minute maps: Bo1
1+ minute maps: Bo3
30 seconds+ maps: Bo5
Everything below 30 seconds: Bo7
• Restarts are allowed but progress is not saved. First to finish or whoever is further at the end of the round, wins.
• Lower finals and Grand finals will be Bo5.
• The winner of the upper bracket receives an advantage in having two first bans versus the lower bracket winner in the Grand Finals.
• Seeding will be determined by the proper placement of the Top 4 players from the group stage.
