Hello, everyone.
We are excited to present the most anticipated and long-awaited release of the year, the longjump release.
It has been quite some time since the last LJ demo release, and for that reason this one will be especially comprehensive. Instead of focusing on a single technique, this release will feature all present categories.
Additionally, we would like to announce the introduction of a new rule. Record-holders, take note, this one applies to you.
Any demos recorded using the cs_patches FOV fix will be allowed for now, as the patch is intended to replicate the native “Widescreen FOV” option available in the non-beta version of CS.
However, in the near future, we plan to begin accepting non-beta (latest build ) demos. When that change takes effect, players using cs_patches will need to remove it and switch to the newest client, where they can use the built-in “Widescreen FOV” option if they wish to maintain the same field of view.
