Premiere: Hinata on kzlt_arabhop (+edits by CarNaGe, Phinx, str, Thunder)

In today newspost we would like to present you a new edit by -CarNaGe., summarize few previous uploads and highlight some notable edits from other channels. Let's go!

 

 

Hinata on kzlt_arabhop (by -CarNaGe.)

 

Throughout the years, kzlt_arabhop has seen 17 world records by 8 different players. This edit focuses on the recent WR by Hinata. Beating colcolx's the WR by close to one second, Hinata claims the number one spot on this map.

-CarNaGe. in his newest edit sets the mood by choosing a liquid drum and bass track to match the run's tempo. On top of that we have some smooth cameras and modified textures.

boryz on int_oblivion [CUT version] (by Thunder)

 

 

An edit that we released some time ago about boryz and his run on int_oblivion. This video does not include the entire 22 minutes run but instead compiles landed jumps and cuts most of the fails. Dip yourself in the mystique of the edit, absolutely stunning map by Intix. and great run by boryz.

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

colcolx on chk_serotonin (by -CarNaGe.)

 

Another edit by -CarNaGe. that was released some time ago but was not featured in the summary newspost until now. One of the records by colcolx that was part of a special WR release. This time -CarNaGe. experiments with more camera shots and masking to create some smooth transitions. Once again the nice and clean edit is tied up by drum and bass tune to keep up with the dynamic run on chk_serotonin.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

aloprando on kzse_bhopblock[full] (by Thunder)

 

aloprando run on kzse_bhopblock[full] was a recent improvement over his previous record from July. Beating his own time by almost 4 seconds in impressive fashion definitely brings pride to all brazilian climbers. Despite edit being released in autumn, it definitely leans more into warm summer vibe that this map brings us. All that underlined with a little dnb, a genre that always has been close to cs 1.6 and kz moviemaking scene.

THE LOW STRAFERS (by Phinx)

 

When it comes down to Phinx you cannot get disappointed. Whether it's his maps or his edits, he always delivers high quality stuff. It's not any different this time with his recently released movie 'THE LOW STRAFERS'. He gathered demos from well known players from the community ( akse, Beterok, komi, Okazys) and merged them together into a great edit. Demos are focused on longjumps with the least amount of strafes while trying to maximize the distance. Fantastic show of skill and what's possible in this game.

The edit itself is as heavy as the drum and bass track chosen for this movie. Phinx is pushing boundaries on the visual side of the edit, while keeping everything dark, sharp and dynamic. It's highly recommended to dim the lights in your rooms while watching this piece, to get maximum immersion.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

colcolx on kz_summercliff2 (by str)

 

For some reason I missed this edit when it was released but I'm here to at least slightly redeem my sins and fix my idleness. Many of you might have already seen some of str's edits before (most notably skrudge that might be one of the most if not the most watched cs 1.6 related edit in recent years). This time the edit I want to highlight is KZ related. To be exact, it's colcolx world record run on kz_summercliff2. The run itself still stands as the world record despite being released in 2023. 

The record was brought into new engine and looks pleasing. Atmospheric cave inside and vibrant cliff outside, tied together with climatic music by palence creates this dreamy vibe that carries us through to the last second of the run, when the climber reaches the top of the lighthouse to press the stop button.

 

 

 

 

Another one to immerse yourselves.

You might have noticed that we slowed down with newsposts and edits a little, but no worries! We have plenty of unreleased stuff, some of it will probably see the light of day still in 2025. On top of that now each edit that lands on our main channel will be announced through a newspost. In the last few months, most of released movies were announced through shortnews and then landed in the summarized newspost like this one. From now on that will change and each edit will get a newspost. This way we are hoping for pointing more eyes into edits and our channel + we would love to get more consistent flow of content.

Many people would not believe ~20 years ago, that the community will still remain as it is now. But obviously we are far from the popularity of both cs 1.6 and kz.
