Premiere: Runs by outside & paslalala + team update

Hello Community!

 

Today's newspost is highlighting two new edits + an announcement (team update). Let's jump straight into it!

 

 

outside on kz-endo_carrington[-md] (by -CarNaGe.)

 

Earlier this year outside dropped a new world record on kz-endo_carrington[-md]. A map by Roadrunner has been beaten by close to 4 seconds, therefore colcolx had to give up his #1 spot. 

 

In regards to the video, -CarNaGe. has chosen a dreamy track by No Vacation, very eye-pleasing color correction with some creative transitions and camera shots. Personally, it is my favorite edit by -CarNaGe. so far, check it out and let us know what you think in the comments!

paslalala on bkz_volcanobhop (by Thunder)

 

While the world record itself was released almost a year ago it is still worth highlighting. paslalala has beaten the previous time by topoviygus, a record that remained unbeaten for almost 5 years! bkz_volcanobhop has seen many records in the last 15 years by various different players: shNz, noxeR, neXt., LeblE - just to name a few. If you look at the history of the map, recent improvements are quite small - paslalala got (-00:00.03) improvement over topoviygus! It really shows how competetive the map is!

 

In regards to edit, it maintains a heavier atmosphere. Since the first time I've watched StormZz on bkz_volcanobhop by JekkT (>LINK TO THIS BEAUTY<), I always wanted to drop an edit that focuses on this map. This is not an attempt to replicate the legendary edit, it's a different, less serious thing, however without a doubt that movie by JekkT has been one of my inspirations overall for many years.

 

Update: As mentioned, it is quite competetive map - following the recent topoviygus' special release the record has been beaten by (-00:00.05). The edit itself was finished in October and was supposed to be released for Halloween but instead it was left unreleased for couple of months, that's why it's getting released despite not being a WR anymore. Unlucky (or lucky?)!

TEAM UPDATE: If you follow moviemaking newsposts or uploads on our main youtube channel, you probably noticed multiple edits from him. He showed dedication and willingness to drop videos, while being open to improve and flexible. His recent edit is released in this newspost! Without further ado, I would like to welcome -CarNaGe. to our moviemaking team!

I'm happy to continue working with -CarNaGe. and I'm excited to see more edits from him!
