Special Release: Cupe vs Aurora on kz_ezalpin

With the re-launch of Kreedz.com came the new "live" demo release system. Demos are now checked and released as they come in, rather than being held and released in batches. Back in October, we also added the ability to see currently submitted demos before they are officially released.
Since then, per-map competition has noticeably increased. When you can see your WR get beaten in real time, it's hard not to jump back on the map and try to take it back.
Case in point: Aurora vs Cupe on kz_ezalpin. Over the span of a few weeks, the world record was improved 32 times, with the two of them constantly trading it back and forth. The record started at 02:44.48 and was pushed all the way down to 02:35.45, shaving off nearly a full ten seconds in a matter of weeks.
For comparison, the previous 10 second improvement on this map happened over the course of ten years!

This was not necessarily what we had in mind when the system was added. Still, the increase in competition has been great to see, and this is exactly what the live system makes possible.

For now, the record sits at 02:35.45 by Cupe. Whether it stays there is another question...
